I hear Jay.
I feel Jay.
I understand Jay.
I believe Jay.
I don’t agree with Jay.
Kanye and Wayne RAN the 2000’s.
Drake ran the 2010’s.
Simply pull up the tracks and check the charts.
That song was really a slick artistic and prophetic shade from “little brother” knowing he has what it takes to pass “big brother” however appreciative for the lesson.
The track was literally genius.
Wayne, Ye and Drake differ on that though…
Quiet as fcking kept, some of Jay’s best lyrical work is on that Best of Both World’s Album.
If they could have squashed that beef on the tour, the solidifying of both their careers would have been even sooner.
Still not enough to beat Wayne, though, in my opinion.
I don’t follow. Their careers were damn near analogous.
Jay switched up his flow, so…
Not quite.
Drop it Like it’s Hot.
Now, you can lead with this or finish with this. It depends on how Wayne structures his playlist.
It can crush Jay’s spirit at the beginning or demoralize at the end if he thought he had it in the bag or anywhere in the versus to establish dominance.
Alright, Steady Mobbin’ or Stuntin’ Like My Daddy?
Which one you want Jay to have to follow?
I’ll raise you 5 years.
I was in the streets heavy in the late 2000’s early 2010’s. I heard what everybody my age was listening to…it was Drake.
Just saw this on a Twitter. This is an observation worth exploring.
My opinion if you can send Luda, you can send T.I.P.
They both made riding and club bangas.
I give the edge to T.I.P. though because he has plenty of street bangas.
I believe his catalog can go head to head with Jay’s.
I love Usher but Chris Brown would BODY him. His fan base is wider AND his catalog is more extensive to find 20 songs.
Sleeper shade tribute of the century.
And he should play it at the end of the versus just for the effect and stare him down.
Two. The past “two.”
Just a reminder: satellite and the AUX button in everybody car.
