Is this factual or just your guess? Because reading up on this they don’t seem to want to introduce Batman to this franchise and it also seems to be a different Joker than the ones that have made the film. I think he’s always gonna be a nut job and never some mastermind.

The director made this a musical he's literally telling ya he don't give a fuck about the original material . Literally the only reason why people think this is the joker cause of the face paint. Nothing outside of the face paint says this guy is the joker. I can bet this movie originally was supposed to be called lunatic or crazy. Some b movie project and some producer said hey how about we put some face paint on him and call it the joker. We go from shitty indie film to a billion dollar shitty film. Props to the producer for pulling off that heist. Now he getting greedy and seeing if they can pull off a second heist by pushing a musical. The joker got to be the shittiest billion dollar film and that says a lot cause I hated iron man 3 and dark Knight rises

The Joker if you are familiar with comics, when he fell in the chemicals, he learned later that the makeup was permanently attached. That’s what made him totally insane.

That sub-plot has been with all Joker live action and animated content since the 1960s.

These Joker films are not in the DCEU, James Gunn DC or Robert Patterson (The Batman) films and are in their own universe.

The first film, the makeup he put on, from what we see in the trailer in this new film, He is still applying the makeup.

So it’s clear either the end of this film the makeup is permanent or the next film. I doubt we will see a new Batman introduced with them going at it, but the franchise will most likely end with them getting close to meeting up and we the audience pretty much knows what happens which will end the franchise.

At the time? I thought it was smart move. Make it DIFFERENT especially with all the alleged incel sh*t in the first one. And that casting sounded perfect at the time. and so far all the reviews state Gaga is NOT the issue. It seems its ALL the writer and director. The concept oh MUSIC isn't NEW to the Joker mythos at all in fact it could/should have been a homerun with THAT budget and THOSE talents.

The film is gonna get good numbers at the box office.

Not from Old School Comic Heads, but from the Lady Gaga Army.

They will come out in full force to watch this.

They casted Lady Gaga long before Taylor Swift blew up at the NFL. If they were casting this film now, she definitely would’ve gotten the role instead of Lady Gaga.

I bet this has a great opening weekend and a ridiculous second week drop off. Once folks find out that the entire film takes place in two settings (Arkham and the Courtroom) word of mouth is going to kill this film.
