He’s absolutely right. Eddie can be on someone’s list, but is he an all-time great, no. Dudes have 6-10 specials under their belt over a decade or two of doing standup. Eddie hasn’t done standup and only have two specials. Yes, he revolutionized the “comedy special” with Raw and Delirious but he was done in his early 20’s, and smartly so. So he can’t be in the top 10 for me because he used comedy to become an actor, when others never stopped and it’s who and what they are with the occasional movie. He’s a legend and first ballot HOF, but Katt has a point and argued it well, though, unnecessary.
