He said Law enforcement said go for it, not Kobe’s team.
They received the INTIAL tip from law enforcement and THEN say they were dealing with Kobe’s people for a period of time. The story does not read that that law enforcement gave the the go ahead.
Honestly I don’t see the big deal. They a new outlet and breaking stories is what they do.

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (WJW) — Vanessa Bryant is establishing a fund to the support families affected by the helicopter crash that took the life of her husband, Kobe Bryant, their daughter, Gigi, and seven others on Sunday in Calabasas, California.
Vanessa released her first public statement following the crash Wednesday on her Instagram page saying,
The other victims have been identified as John Altobelli, Keri Altobelli, Alyssa Altobelli, Sarah Chester, Payton Chester, Christina Mauser and the pilot, Ara Zobayan.

She continued, saying that the Mamba Sports Foundation has established the MambaOnThree Fund to help support the other families that were impacted by the tragedy.
