What's that famous context?

I bet $$$ that when Big Ben dies, or Trump dies they will forget they had more serious allegations.
All is forgiven to them regardless of anything else.

I remember when George Bush died, even white liberals were remembering the good times.
I'm like, the same MF who
1. Popularized welfare queen = black mother
2. Willie Horton
3. Took us into Iraq and destabilized the middle east further
4. "Bought" crack from across the street of the WH, that SAME MF'er?

It's like, the media ignored all the fucked up shit people like George Bush and others have done to people in their life.Meanwhile, black people can't even get their dead bodies covered up but the media want to tell us we're too sensitive.

Shit just pisses me off.

You trusted her

You know with this current state of social media, cancel culture and #metoo

I think we honestly cannot "trust" anyone

And that goes even for ourselves

We are emotional hypocritical prisoners of the moment with recent bias

When imus died the first thing i thought about was his nappy headed comment

Kobe dies some folks immediately thought sex assault

And lord forbid years from now it will be dogs with Vick, hunting blacks with Liam, Whitlock a coon traiter, terry crews a joke, mel gibson drunk racist, etc etc...

We are all more than our worst moments.

But we really can't control how we are remembered or other people's opinions and perceptions.

Abigail Disney said some things that i thought were really heartfelt in the past and even this thing...

Kobe WAS involved in a messed up situation, that is fact.

Its just how and when that i think we can all agree on

Imus died old and unapologetic

Kobe died with his baby girl and 9 others championing women and womens women's sports

There is a difference

I think circumstances DO matter.

Hey, we have to understand that every person is different. As long as they get the news, they’re ok with it no matter how they get it.

They could be playing Madden online and the sports ticker on the game tells them them their family member passed. If it was after halftime, they’d continue to play and just be happy that they know the news.

Yeah for me how the news was delivered does not bother me. How I find them dead is different.

Had a good talk with my coworker after work yesterday for about 20 minutes. Knew it would be a good discussion, as he's a lifelong hoops fan too & Kobe was slightly older than us. Coworker played high level HS ball, and for some time in college. Currently plays in a men's league with 35 - 40yos.

They found out Sunday just prior to a regular weekend game, and everyone was in disbelief. The news only worsened later in the day for everyone (worldwide) following the tragedy as you realized the fatality count climbed, including his dear daughter.

He said what he'll remember most about Kobe is him being someone so focused on excellence. Being a dominant force in his sport. One of the very best EVER. A 20-year storied career. Hall of Fame later this year. Family man with 4 kids. Making big moves in the business world along the way. Involving himself with writing. Learning multiple languages. Winning an Oscar. The involvement with promoting youth & women's sport. It would have been great to watch his life flourish even further in the decades ahead. The 2nd act, as people have said. So many power moves to be made. His daughter eventually making big moves in the NCAA & WNBA.

The hurt for Vanessa & her 3 daughters at home. The families of the other crash victims. Condolences to ALL of them. Very sad all-around. So many people impacted.

Epstein dies in a Federal Prison under mysterious causes. Kobe relies on State and Federal air traffic controllers to land his helicopter. They have him flying around until he crashes by remote sabotage. Both had committed sex crimes and was repudiated before or after their death. Has the U.S. become North Korea with extra judicial killings?

They started with Anwar Al Awlaki to normalize us to the government killing citizen without due process. Yes he was living overseas and plotted terrorist shit, but he was an American citizen. This is the new normal...

Kobe Bryant’s sister posts touching photo tribute to late brother

Sharia Washington’s photo tribute to Kobe Bryant.Facebook
One of Kobe Bryant’s sisters has posted emotional online photos of her brother with family through the years.

Sharia Washington — whose Facebook profile picture is now just a circle of mourning black — uploaded 10 snapshots, including of her smiling NBA legend brother cradling some of his four daughters as babies and hugging her and their sister Shaya.

Other photos feature Bryant’s 13-year-old daughter, Gianna, who was killed along with her dad and seven others in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, Calif., on Sunday morning.

“My heart is so heavy, I wish I could take some of the hurt. Please know you that you family is in consent prayers,” Tiffany Taylor Young responded to the post
