After reviewing all the currently known facts, I wouldn't be surprised if the pilot was on some suicide shit for some reason, or somebody sabotaged the helicopter. The pilot was too experienced, the helicopter was an excellent model, this is a trip they've taken probably hundreds of times.

R.I.P. Kobe, GiGi and all who died.

My rage ALL WEEK has been towards Jabba Whitlock and the WaPo reporter.

Kobe put the spotlight on his idiocy way back - maybe it's been burning inside Jaba ever since.

I saw this Mon. and thought, "Does Jabba Whitlock know he's Jabba Whitlock?" (to borrow a phrase)
All these tears now,

- and all you had to say about Kobe thru the years was:

Kobe's last game, he had this to say-

It sounds crazy, but do the research fam. They rose quickly to 2400 feet to "get out of the clouds", then they immediately lost 300 feet of altitude in 6 seconds, banked hard left and fell 1700 feet into the hillside. It just don't feel right. They weren't flying in no rudypoo ass helicopter like some people have the impression. The shit was capable.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but have you been consistently saying dumbshit in this thread?

Now I could be wrong, and if I am I apologize.

And yes it does matter how the information is received.
I only told Brothas to stop bickering and fighting in the thread

when someone close to you dies it really does not matter how you get the news. I am more concerned that my loved one died and other family members then the way I found out. Like it would change my feelings in the death of my loved one because I found out a different way.

Understood.

But being a celebrity, you don’t want to be out and about and everyone knows your family members are dead except for you because you didn’t check TMZ.

I imagine that rarely happens, but most still don’t want that to happen to them.

Any news regarding you or your family I imagine that family would like to know the news first. No matter what news it was.

You mean like when you suggested that someone should kill themselves in this thread because you didn't agree with him expressing grief over this?

I remember seeing some “Funny Stuff” but chose not to respond, I do remember posting others not to respond.

Your memory of the exchanges are better than mine, I just remember not liking a post or two.

He said it was something different so hey :dunno:

Why would they need to make a public statement?

the parents and sisters of a famous athlete and celebrity that died and no media has heard from them? his wife has commented as well as anyone that has access to a platform.

you don’t find anything odd about that?

They more than likely denied all request to speak to the media that reached out to them. We are not his family so his mother, father and siblings should not be required to speak to us.

I’ve seen his Mom and sisters maybe twice in 24 years, and his Dad a few more times than that.

Why would they need to make public statements now?

Wait, I think you’re a bullshit poster too aren’t you?

you’re right - people who never met the man should publicly comment on his death yet the people that gave him life and raised him shouldn’t have anything to say.

There are a lot of posters allergic to logic in this thread.

They’re very private people. You think that they all of a sudden should make a public statement when their son died when we literally only heard from them a couple of times in the past 20+ years?

I would have denied comment if the media had reached out to me. I am not use to having cameras and media around like that. When asked, I would have politely denied the request. When my mom died I could not imagine having to speak to the entire world.

I am sure they will speak after they burry their son. People need time to handle family business during a death

They definitely do need time to handle this. I don’t expect, want or need them to say anything. They don’t speak to the public so I don’t expect them to now.

Here's a good reddit thread with a recap of all the evidence (or lack thereof). I don't know if Kobe really raped that CAC (I doubt it), but I know those who ARE calling him a rapist are slandering him based off some #BelieveAllWomen bullshit.. nah

White men could rape, murder and do all types of fucked up shit to people and nobody would, especially in the media would say anything bad about them....Meanwhile,black men get their past brought up even,if they were found innocent of the charges. Even,if the black male never been in trouble of their life, the media will find something negative about him like, how he recieved and F in a class elementary school or something so dumb shit.

People keep saying we've progressed as a society, no,we haven't because it's the same shit over and over again.

Then, you have the people that say black men complain too much just ignoring the bullshit we have to deal with on a daily basis.

I'm not about to sit here and be on that black men vs black women bullshit because both get the same crap in different ways. I do find it funny that people tell black men to suck it up and deal with it though. Like,we don't have feelings.

Shit like this extremely pisses me off when the media knows this information yet they want to ignore it just so they can throw a black person under the bus.

Not everyone needs to get in front of a camera or post something on social media to show they are grieving. Let them deal with it in their own way. There is nothing logical about them not making a statement.

What's that famous context?

I bet $$$ that when Big Ben dies, or Trump dies they will forget they had more serious allegations.
All is forgiven to them regardless of anything else.

I remember when George Bush died, even white liberals were remembering the good times.
I'm like, the same MF who
1. Popularized welfare queen = black mother
2. Willie Horton
3. Took us into Iraq and destabilized the middle east further
4. "Bought" crack from across the street of the WH, that SAME MF'er?

Don Imus is a good example of this...

those white folk were NOT going on social media and calling into sports radio saying how much of a racist prick he had been for decades.

All I asked was a question until one of the stans got emotional but it is a valid question.

they are private yet they’ve done public interviews on their son before and Jelly Bean was a coach in the WNBA less than a decade ago.

when did the culture of questioning become one to illicit such anger?

Wow...

Well OK i hope this becomes the standard then not just in celebrity deaths

it should be. This rush to be first and not be accurate is a major problem but people don’t realize that the media is not held to a standard of integrity anymore and can report propaganda as fact under the guise of news. That is law. You can blame Roger Ailes and the politically conservative for starting it but the liberal media has multiplied it 10 fold

It wasn’t a good question. A person’s trying to be an asshole, or is an asshole asking why didn’t a family didn’t make a public statement.

In “Their Words”. The public isn’t their family, so why would they need to make a statement to people that they don’t know. They’re not emotionally attached to people that they don’t know, so what’s the issue?

He didn't rise to get out of the clouds as he was not cleared to fly that high. Remember the lower you fly the less rules you have and more freedom to do what you want. The higher you fly, the more rules you have because you are now entering commercial airline air space and air plane air space.

The climb was to clear the initial mountain. Two things could have happened. He may not have known that he was descending or thought he had cleared all the mountains.

That is easy to get confused because he had no visibility. You can easily get spatial disorientation which prevents you from knowing if you are ascending, descending or turning right or left. Or you may think that you are ascending when in fact you are on a descend.

i can't even wrap my mind around him publishing something like that. this dude is extra delusional
Sad because he has a great show. One of the best. Makes it hard for me to watch because he will be doing so well then start cooning. Sometimes I think he hates his skin and black men
