I had no use for the Tom Cruise shit...but part of me did think they'd do it for fanservice since he was originally supposed to get the part before RDJ
What I actually think is happening is Disney/marvel is purposely adding the fake scoops after the real scoops to generate more buzz.....and the youtube guys(some) are in on it and possibly getting paid to do so.

I stopped buying the Thor comic book when they took the hammer away from him and gave it to a woman and stopped buying Black Panther when Shuri became the Black Panther. Chances are I'm done with Disney and Marvel and won't be renewing Disney+
You should read the Jane Foster Thor series....I thought the same way. Then I read it....it was one of the best Thor stories in 20 years hands down.
The Suri story is right up there too. With Black Panther becoming King of the Dead. That's definitely a great read.
I'm not with Marvel making women version of every male character but those 2 stories are definitely worth reading.

And I stopped reading when the frog took over, when Beta Ray Bill took over, I don't recall Storm taking over in Thor that was in New Mutants and X-men when Loki gave her a hammer. But I've stopped buying several comic books when they took a left turn. I ain't new to this. When Superman became Red Superman and Blue Superman it was time to stop buying his comic book. The Spider-man clone saga was another time.
