Yep.Again, I agree. I think the "What If" comics were an excellent vehicle for writing unconventional stories. They could explore alternate arc without messing up the original comic's backgrounds and over all flavor. Jane can't have the same richness of history as Thor does.
I remember a Thor storyline where Thor was hurt or something and he met his Grandfather Buri. Thor never knew who he was, but it made a great storyline. Buri got Thor back on his feet and back into fighting shape. Jane can't have that, it won't make sense. Unless it's in a "What If" scenario.
But the way they are telling the stories now, they seem to expect the traditionalists to just accept it because they wrote it. Naw.... I like shit to make sense.
The way they're writing now, I bet soon we can expect a female Galactus, Namor, Blue Marvel, and, Thanos.
You can COUNT on it.
All the shit that made you watch the original MCU films up 'til Endgame is done and over.
Now they're running purely on name recognition and past success and knowing audiences will pay to watch any old bullshit they now produce.
So, they figured that now is the time to push that feminist/LGBTQ/race swap crap and call it "diversity & representation". When in reality it's nothing but pandering to specific demographics, instead of just telling great stories...

There ain't NO WAY you're gonna tell me that current day MCU films and streaming series (with the exception of No Way Home) are as satisfying or fulfilling as earlier MCU films or the Netflix era of series...
