Maybe or maybe not.

I kinda feel sorry for her because this is the first time I've ever heard her publicly speak about this. When she said "love" is not enough to stop someone from committing suicide, that kinda hit me, because I thought about all of the parents that have had to go through something like their child committing suicide and then the parents having to wonder, "what did i do wrong?" 'why did this happen?" :(

In Texas you don't need a license or training to carry a gun and teachers are allowed to carry in schools. Stop.
The big uproar with Constitutional Carry was that made it so you could now carry without a conceal carry permit. The gun purchase process is still the same as if you're purchasing a firearm to keep solely in your home. You still have to go through background checks to legally acquire the firearm regardless.

I'm not a fan of Constitutional Carry though. I have a huge issue with not requiring any training. Every gun owner should at minimum take a class so they are aware of the laws in their state. And I definitely believe they should get training. Owning a firearm doesn't automatically make one able to shoot. I've seen people miss damn near an entire silhouette target that's 3 yards in front of them. Imagine them trying to protect themselves in a high stress situation :smh:

So what you are saying then is easy access to those things would make it more likely people would use them. But somehow the easy access to guns is not causing all these shootings...
For malicious minded people yes. If they are dedicated enough, they will use whatever they have access to in order to achieve their goals.

There was recently an incident in Australia where a man went into a store, picked up knives from the cutlery section and immediately started slashing at random people unprovoked. Australia already banned firearms at that point but didn't think to do that bout knives. What happened after this incident, they immediately started considering bans for open display knives in stores.

You can try to ban things but there are always gonna be sets of people who skirt around those bans or find alternative means to carry out their plans. And those people never care about government laws or regulations.

Texans can carry handguns without a license or training starting Sept. 1, after Gov. Greg Abbott on Wednesday signed the permitless carry bill into law.

House Bill 1927 eliminates the requirement for Texas residents to obtain a license to carry handguns if they’re not prohibited by state or federal law from possessing a gun. The signing was reported by the Texas Legislature's official website, which tracks the progress of legislation. Abbott's office has announced a ceremonial signing of the bill and other gun-related legislation at 11 a.m. Thursday.

This kinda thing doesn't happen in America! WTF is going on??

When you can entertain yourself while getting no pussy for years this is the problem, America is so invested in creation, people are creating ways to entertain without other people needed, no need to call, text, no need for a warm female hole, porn and a hand is enough, video games, sports, liquor.

we slowing killing ourselves.

That's Constitutional Carry. Still the same process for purchasing the gun itself in that you need to pass a background check. Only difference is now they can carry on their person as opposed to only having it in their house. There's no reciprocity so you can't cross state borders with it like you can with a valid conceal carry license. I'm personally not a fan of it. I think the conceal carry class is very important especially from the aspect of it teaching the laws and ramifications that come with gun ownership

Although the notion may seem radical, at least 14 states already arm teachers, according to a VICE News review of state laws and interviews with education department officials and school board associations around the country. Those states are Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Idaho, Indiana, Missouri, Montana, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, and Washington.

I still can't wrap my head around the need/normalcy for teachers to be armed at the schools they teach. America has truly gone to shits :smh: .

And you know it's even worse when your child also commits murder along with suicide. When she said she had no idea her son was that bad off, I believe her.

I believe if she had an inkling he was capable doing something that heinous, she would've tried to prevent it. Her life became hell the day that occured.

Americans are for the most part are a wild eyed, conviction riddled, Facebook informed, angel believing, capitalist driven people who, even with an unlimited amount of training, still make bad decisions over and over and over again.

There’s simply no amount of training in the world that will regulate this, just as there’s no amount of training that will eliminate law enforcement from killing black people.

The problem is not the guns, absolutely. The problem is the owner of said gun who can no longer be helped.

However, when said person cannot be fixed, the next thing in line to go is the tool.

And I say this as a gun owner.
