If you can show me "everybody saying he was making a mistake" when he was cleared, I'll admit I was wrong. But I don't think you'll be able to because that's not what I saw.
Nah, man. You're right that people were speculating a month ago that it was an achilles injury.
But this dude claimed "everybody knew it was his Achilles and that he was really gonna mess it up if he played tonight."
If that were true, there would have been a bunch of commentary before Game 5 about Durant like
my post about Thompson before game 3:
I agree with Kornheiser... The smarter move in a seven game series is to preserve his health for the next four possible games rather than risk making it worse, which could be fatal to the Warriors.
If they really "prefer Klay Thompson sit out Game 3 to protect his sore hamstring for the rest of NBA Finals," they have a responsibility to keep him from aggravating it.
You see the criticism
BEFOREHAND about "risk of making it worse" and "a responsibility to keep him from aggravating it"? You see that being talked about as the lead story on one of the world's biggest sports shows?
There was NONE of that about Durant before Game 5. Not that I saw in media and not on BGOL. Just a bunch of hindsight-driven bullshit.
