Ready and 100% are 2 different things.
he was not going to be 100%
but he was absolutely ready or they wouldn't have put them out there.

Did you think the Celtics put IT on the floor when they KNEW he wasn't ready?
Ready and 100% are 2 different things.
he was not going to be 100%
but he was absolutely ready or they wouldn't have put them out there.
I can do that lol
because the policy didn't change for him
He can be right in saying he don't think he's ready
but he's lying about seeing him play because they don't let anyone see injured players coming back from major injuries play.
and he's the only media member to see it right?
both things can be true
he can be right in his thinking without actually seeing it.
We'll likely find out.
We don't know what he was told. Just because they kept reporting it was a "calf" injury to the media doesn't mean that's what he was told. And it still could have been a calf injury (I don't think it was) and the overcompensation put too much stress on his achilles tendon, but they did a risk/reward assessment because they were down 3-1 and in the finals and went for it. Had yall been up 3-1, Durant wouldn't have played.
Jalen is spot on with his takes more often than not.I understand
But we gotta deal with the fact that Jalen said it put his nane it and was PROVEN RIGHT.
I can't
call that man a liar.
He did what EVERY fam DEMANDS and rarely gets...
He put his name on it
So whatever happens he gets a whole lot of credit from me and now i doubt the beat writers just a little.
Btw.. jalen has done this a few times before.
I've had a few discussions in this thread with multiple people about the KD injury.
The main point we were making is that the GSW might be misleading us because that is more likely the Achilles.
At least three people have discussed their personal experience with Achilles injuries.
Again, we aren't doctors, trainers, or specialists, but if we can see that shit from here I don't understand how they "missed" it
you mention me regardlessOk you know what?
I'll take that.
But if he can PROVE he actually saw him?
I'm gonna be on you.
First time was a fluke and second time is a trend....and a Achilles of all things..not some sprained ankle or flu....obviously Reggie Miller isn't a doctor but he called that shit immediately....probably wasn't a blown Achilles but a achillies injury for sure.
These NBA Finals are kind of wack. I can’t really put my finger on why. Oh well.
Ready and 100% are 2 different things.
he was not going to be 100%
but he was absolutely ready or they wouldn't have put them out there.
you mention me regardless
im the one who has to sit in here and detract 19 different people dolo
and id be the only one in here if we had lost last night too.
No my position hasn't changed READY means ready to play
READY doesn't mean 100%
there was no way he was going to be 100% and also you don't have to be 100% to play.
Show me the reports of pressure inside the organization dated before yesterday.
I didnt' see any and I follow all the warrior beat writers.
The only one who says things like that is TK and he's irresponsible and speculative as shit and other reporters are calling him out on his latest article from today.
I'd generally like to see from the people who are beat writers saying there is pressure to get him on the court from inside the organization.
ALSO to your gamble narrative which is bs
thanks.
The problem is it wasn’t a fluke. That’s literally a classic Achilles tear. And bro not for nothing you don’t work for the team. You are not in the league. You don’t know what Jalen saw. Just call it what it is. An injured player being pressured back in and got hurtYeah so again the beat writer's who fucking follow the team and have all access to the team all year round couldn't see KD work out but somehow they let Jalen Rose a national media member who will undoubtedly go on tv and say what he saw watch KD practice
make that make fucking sense.
He wasn't 100% nobody said he was
He was fucking FINE and killing it until the FLUKE shit happened again
he got injured on a FLUKE the first time remember?
That's the larger pictureYou don't have to do that cuz...
That aint your weight to carry
This isn't about defenses and line ups
This is about the inherent racism that permeates American sports from media to fandom.
And the dehumanization of the black athlete
Its offensive and disingenuous to try and make the golden state warriors the symbol of that.
@playahaitian not the same energy for the raptor fans?
who cheered kd injury?
i see all you niggas are glossing over that shit when you know if it had been at oracle...
wait you niggas had a tribunal the other day about the kyle lowry shit
crickets on fans cheering an injured player though
hasn't even been fucking brought up by people in here
that's why this shit is fake.
Jay Williams:"GSW really let the narrative get out of hand.. KD was always targeting game 5 or 6. But they way it as handled- for whatever reason- allowed it to linger that he would possibly come back sooner. And i think it added to the pressure of moving him along faster than he probably should have"..
Jalen doesn't have a history of talking out his assOk you know what?
I'll take that.
But if he can PROVE he actually saw him?
I'm gonna be on you.
Lots of injuries you can try to play through....you'll just not be as productive (like the injuries that Iggy + Kawhi have for instance). An achilles injury is one of the few injuries that you're absolutely taking a huge risk when coming back "early". Had they not been down 3-1 in the finals, there wouldn't have even been a discussion about Durant playing. They just did a risk/reward discussion and said "fuck it". I also believe that had it been Curry, they wouldn't have allowed him to play as they wouldn't have risked his career even for a title.
Jalen doesn't have a history of talking out his ass
Steven A said the press was kicked out.
I think Jalen might have access that others might not?
Abso fucking lutely and it's Steph's team.....they bout to move in a new building and he's the face.......Most people know KD was gonna bounce.....like this is the anti Khawi Leonard.....I Just hope KD got a independent opinion
Damn cuz im not a cyborg like you battling the whole board dolo
Who gotta post these big booty women if I'm stuck in here all day yalking bball with ya'll???
Priorities negro!!!!
That mans mom tweeted about his toughness was questioned. ..... why would she do that unless it was questioned? Fans didn’t question it. .... the reports right after game 4 said it was the organization. If you are questioning his toughness you are pressuring him. Again fuck them CAC. Those were tears of guilt.
The Warriors GM was his agent his whole career.Watching the jump now
TMAC said it wasn’t a mistake of him playing.
The problem is it wasn’t a fluke. That’s literally a classic Achilles tear. And bro not for nothing you don’t work for the team. You are not in the league. You don’t know what Jalen saw. Just call it what it is. An injured player being pressured back in and got hurt
There are a range of injures in the NBA with very different consequences: inflammatory, neurological, sprains, contusions, etc to all the parts of the body. There isn't "ready" and "100%" difference when it comes to an achilles injury. If it truly wasn't just a "calf" injury, he shouldn't have been back on the floor until he was 100%.
I think we'll find out his achilles tendon was already sprained and playing just completely tore it off the bone.
We'll see. I don't know and I never claimed to know exactly what the injury was or wasn't
