I disagree, the donation is to the retired NBA Players Association. A million dollars to what 2k makes off this game yearly?? If the other players wanted shit what's stopping them from asking already? The bump 8nnsales from including Barkley and Miller will get that mil ticket back instantly.
The other legends who are already in the games are probably just cool with whatever check 2K gives them for now. But if 2K caves into the demands of Barkley and 'em, then some of those players who were already in the game might go back to 2K like "well since ya'll being generous, give me THIS for my likeness in the next game or leave me out of it."
The majority of the 2K gaming community don't even know much about Barkley & Miller above being TNT analyst. That's a lot of money to throw when most players won't even bother using them. Barkley wasn't even on the Suns & 76ers teams the last time he was in 2K. He excluded himself to only the Dream Team.
My weekend been so busy I didn't even pay attention. I thought both versions were out until I saw those dudes on OS talking about I can't wait till the game comes out tomorrow. Now the picture makes more sense to me

ya I’ve always done this w/ 2k...the few times I’ve played mycareer I got bored a couple games into the season...I’ve never finished the mycareer storylines...I just wish the face-scanned player could be used in myleague
R* has a most played game that released like 5 or more years ago. Shark cards aren't going anywhere. Its all about having a full stable of stallion.
