I barely touch it since Red Dead dropped. Its just filled with microtractions. They screwed up play now by having to unlock all time teams which can lead to some huge mismatches.

Check ebay...i saw it for 22 bucks the other day

ya I saw one listed for $24 plus $3 s&h for a total of $27 which is almost $30 ...not much of a price difference but psychologically it seemed like more of a steal when I knew I could’ve gotten it for under $20 ...I’m in no rush to play it so I’ll wait til the xmas/new years sales and see if it comes down to $20 plus game deal usually reups on shit

I'm glad I don't fuck with none of that online nonsense cause they just seem to keep messing it up.

I wonder if these are the very same Locker Codes that JackedBill was talking about yesterday. :dunno:

From all the comments I had been seeing online... 2k gave out a locker code out ONLY to some people (mostly YouTubers)... who already have stacked squads.... and they didn’t anticipate the locker code going public... so 2k rescinded all of them just hours later. :smh:

Too much fuckery going on at the 2k offices. :smh:

But what is even worse is that 2K is literally catching YouTubers posting videos telling their viewers exactly 'how to glitch the game'..... but only giving them a slap on the wrist / or banning them for just 2 weeks, or less. And the ONLY reason they don't ban them for longer period of time is because they are the very same YouTubers that 2K INVITES to Cali to play the game (several weeks) before it drops. :smh:

For example: there is a popular 2K YouTuber named BadgePlug. He's a white boy & his whole channel is literally FILLED with nothing but 'glitch videos' for 2k19. They caught his ass at the end of November/start of December... banned him for a just 2 weeks.... and EVERY SINGLE video he has posted every day since then has been YET ANOTHER glitch video. :smh: It's ridiculous. Because they also INVITE this dude to Cali to play the game early, before everyone else. :hmm:

(But let the 'average joe' who is black & doesn't have a YouTube channel strictly DEDICATED to NBA2k... get caught using the SAME glitches this white boy keeps posting... and 2k will ban them for a whole year. :hmm::rolleyes:)

That dude (BadgePlug) has a quarter of a million YouTube subscribers.... and he STAYS posting 'how to' videos (non-stop)... that literally cheat 2k out of hundreds of thousands of dollars of VC revenue... and the ONLY thing they do... is ban him for 2 weeks??? Then REWARD him by making him a 'special invited guest' when the next iteration of the game comes out?? C'mon son.

Way too much fuckery going on at the 2k offices. :smh:

The locker codes you're talking about are the pink diamond LeBron codes that went out yesterday. Those were not meant for the general community so 2K rescended all the pink diamond Brons from yesterday. The MT codes and the guaranteed pink diamond codes are apologies for their screw up for taking back a pink diamond card and who ever put a diamond shoe or contracts on the card rescended.

OK I get it. Thanks.

But WHY would 2K give out Special Pink Diamond codes to certain players.... when THE REST of the 2k gamer community has to 'play against' these guys with the overpowered team they got, thanks to 2k?

Then those dudes be using these overpowered teams they got (thanks to 2k) to make countless videos bragging about 'how good' they are on YouTube. :hmm:

That's just trifling. :hmm: Bad Business. :hmm: Terrible Marketing. :hmm: And blatant favoritism.

See, it's one thing if those Youtubers got these Special MyTeam Cards... and the ONLY other people they are ever ALLOWED to use them against... are OTHER YouTubers with the exact same Special MyTeam Cards. Now that's fair to everyone.

But to give away those Special Cards to a select group (that nobody is supposed to know about).... and then allow them to play against 'the general population' after 2k has given them a decidedly (exclusive) distinct advantage... is just absurd. :hmm: And might ultimately create resentment among the playerbase. :dunno: Sooner or later.

If 2k is giving away a 'freebie'... just give everyone the same shit. Problem solved.

I'd bet that's EXACTLY why the codes 'leaked' in the first place. Because one (or more) of those YouTube dudes (maybe Chris Smooth :dunno:) realized that move 2K pulled was some bullshit & probably took matters into their own hands.

As for why give the YouTubers "content creators" (that's what they like to be called now) special cards? Well if their subs are watching them play with said card then the community may be more inclined to pay money for a CHANCE to pull said card. I've been playing my team for a couple years and I've even brought packs with my hard earned money and was always dissapointed.

As for the person who leaked the card it was the nerdy cac Shakenbake. He posted on Twitter. Rather it was only meant for the YouTube guys or it was just a fuck up like the Harden pink diamond card leak from last year. Chris Smoove calls them out from time to time but he's just a PS4 sponsored clown. He spends more time to get views from the NBA nightly hightlights than making original content.

So basically 2K is trying to incentivize gamers to buy these cards (which are nothing more than 'lottery tickets')... by RIGGING the whole lottery itself. :smh:... by ensuring that the ONLY folks who actually WIN the lottery, are the folks who PROMOTE their game on YouTube. :hmm:

Too much fuckery at the 2k offices. :smh:

The backlash is gonna catch up to them. Sooner or later.

Even the streamers get fucked out of money buying packs. Its a gamble for everyone. At least the streamers views pay for their pack openings. The average Joe is just out of money.

Agent just dropped a video taking about this whole fiasco. Skip to the 4:15 mark.

I was correct... 2k gave a ‘freebie’ to certain YouTubers.... and they leaked the code to their buddies... who in turn, leaked the code to everyone else .... so 2k pulled the card & offered a whole DIFFERENT locker code to the community to compensate.... and now that 2nd locker code doesn’t even work. :smh:

It was a terrible idea to give certain players an ‘unfair advantage’ as a marketing tactic, in the first place. So I knew the backlash was gonna be inevitable.

It’s never a good idea to rig a lottery... to try to sell more lottery tickets. :smh:

What makes it even worse is Ronnie 2k saying: “You guys shouldn’t be adding accessories to these players that you did not earn.” :hmm: (This type of logic hurts the ‘2k brand’ as a whole, imo.)

Because wait a sec Ronnie... the guys you GAVE the players to (for free) did not EARN them either. :hmm: Like everyone else.

Too much fuckery at the 2k offices. :smh:

In this case... they deserve the Tech Support log jam & all the anger / salty feelings on Social Media. They EARNED it.
