Homie gotta blaze that..
Is it hard to play defense?Didn't get to play until after work Tuesday. I really like the gameplay out the box. Its not easy to score. You have to use players strengths. You can't just bully and blow by this year. Played a quick game against the CPU on all star difficulty struggled at times but got the win. Later played a my team game online and was down by double digits in the first quarter. Tried to play 4 out but I'm not sure u can even use 4 out this year online in my team. I pulled out the win using pick n fade with Ryan Anderson and Lauri Markkaman to hit 3's. Dude I was playing against tried to turbo to the paint with Giannis but that turbo shit can be defended this year.
My only gripe is it seems defensive assignments are set to switch everything by default and their way to many free shots if you're playing on ball and don't switch.
No u can stay in front of the offensive player. Last year once someone hit RT they was getting to the rack if u beat them to the spot first or bring help.Is it hard to play defense?
Oh ok.No u can stay in front of the offensive player. Last year once someone hit RT they was getting to the rack if u beat them to the spot first or bring help.
Damn!!!
The VC glitch - better hop on it before they get on it
Basically:
Make a 2nd MyCareer save, build doesn't matter (but I would recommend making a short pure sharp), just make him a PG.
Skip prelude, go to the NBA. Choose GSW.
Send a counter offer of 750 VC, 0 minutes, 1x bonus, 1 year.
The GM will counter offer a few times then send you a "final offer" around 740-750 VC, whatever it is, accept it.
Change difficulty to Hall of Fame for an extra 100 VC per game
Start up a game. You'll be simmed to halftime, then to end of regulation, get paid 800+ VC.
Repeat until they start actually playing you, and if they do, you can sim to the end of the game if you're team is up by 10 after halftime. If they start giving you minutes, make a new player, start over.
Being able to start up the next game from the locker room made it faster. Made a quick 15,000 VC while I was eating dinner.
Also, when you delete your dummy character, be careful not to delete your real one. 2K puts the one you played last on top of the MC file save selection list. And don't forget to grab that extra 1000 VC in endorsements, and to spin the wheel in Ante Up.
Go ahead and stack that shit, don't buy no fuckass VC.
Nah, they killed it yesterday afternoon.
Too many people making videos about the shit or self snitching on Twitter.
If you do the shit now, you'll only get 1 VC, and if they detect you're doing it, they'll make it so your dummy character never gets in a game.
Fuck them. I’ll iust pick up Live. Man that’s bs. They rob you to buy the game at $60 then you gotta pay another $100 to max your fucking player? Nah, bitch not me. They greedy as fuck
Klay jumper is free.Jordan jumper cant shoot 3s for shit
Which jump shot y’all using in my career
Yeah, I’ve already pretty much given up playing this year’s 2k. And I’m about 1 week’s worth of games away from regretting even buying it.
Year after year, the gameplay is moving backwards, imo. And this year it feels like 2k has built a game that was meant to specifically cater to the ‘wishes’ of the YouTubers.
They continue to adjust stuff to reduce cheese, sure I get it. That’s great... but at the same time, they ruin the other things that worked really well in the past & felt natural.
The MyCareer story is sooo much better.... but the actual ‘controls’ have degraded drastically, imo.
And the ironic thing is... the folks I have seen on YouTube who praise the game... are ALL using the very same jumpshot bases & releases, the same builds, the same archetypes, and the same dribble moves to compensate for the flawed mechanics.
I trying not to give up....i bought the 100 verison too...
I’ve been a fan of 2k for years.... but it’s just not as appealing (or as fun) as it was back in 2011.
I’m seeing videos of people in the Park...
- Still not passing the ball.
- Still over dribbling.
- Still making ‘heavily contested’ deep jumpers, from mid court.
- Still spamming the steal button, on defense.
- Still taking reckless shots from halfcourt.
In MyCareer, my CPU teammates are still leaving their assignments wide open in the corners, for no good reason whatsoever.
It just feels like NBA 2k18 all over again... only with a bigger neighborhood... a better storyline... the ability to skip cutscenes... but LESS ability to get open... and way too many ‘missed shots’ at higher ranking, as I level up.
The higher my rank goes.... the more shots i miss. Which feels so backward.
It’s like, you can’t just play the game & have it work well, right out the box. You have to spend way too much time to ‘configure’ every last slider setting & attribute of your Player.... just to get the game to a point where it doesn’t make you frustrated.
When 2k11 dropped, I just started playing and having fun RIGHT AWAY. Then tweaked the sliders & configurations as I went along (like after playing every 10-20 games, or so) to get ‘the balance’ more to my liking. But now in 2k19, I realize I have tweak some shit / or adjust some slider / or re-configure a move / or select a new animation... after every other game , because of some bullshit that just happened in the previous game, that pissed me off.
It’s way too many bitch ass whit boys in myplayer creating their myplayer to give the impression they are black..
I was in the neighborhood in the Jordan rec center playing 5on5 and all you hear from those little faggits are n-word this and n-word that, talk mad shit don’t pass the ball etc..
Honestly you can’t really compete in the neighborhood until your rating is at least a 90 otherwise you just wasting ya time
