The thing about LBJ that no one is talking about; he wants the type of offense hes in; hes not about to play in a motion offense; he wants to be the center of control at all times; he would never work with GS and how they play; But yes they are gonna have to trade Love if they wanna improve; but heres the thing; for who and for what?? Lets say the Cavs lose this series; right now realistically how would they improve enough to beat GS??

I told you, man ...

KD out Lebron'd Lebron. He pulled the ultimate chess move. I don't like it, don't respect it, but in terms of securing future championships, he made the ultimate move that can be feasibly made.

The NBA gon' have to deal with that shit.

GS own the paint on both ends period!!

I didnt watch the entire game actually. Not even half of it to be honest with you. I got bored (like Ive been for most of the NBA playoffs) and started flipping through channels after the 1st half . When I WAS watching, I saw LBJ and Kyrie owning GS in the paint during the 1st half, but obviously that doesnt give the full story. Shame on me..

As for the coaches/play calling, my comment was more so about what needs to be addressed during the off season, hence the reason I followed that comment up with a off season plan.

As for how they can get needed help, more than likely they can only do that via trading, unless someone is willing to take a pay cut. Out of the highest paid players LBJ, Kyrie, Love, Tristan and JR, the main trade bait is obviously Love. But im sure they can move other players as well. Theres plenty of teams that would take Love, if the Cavs are willing to give him up.

The Cavs more than likely wont be able to fill all their voids during one off season, but SOME voids can be filled if theyre willing to make improvements. Right now theyll just be making adjustments for GS; or whoever makes it out of the West next year.

Don't know, bruh.

GS is going to make it mandatory that they figure it out or else.

Bro', you can't have Steph Curry and Durant on the same squad with Klay and Draymond. Its just too much.
Remember also fam, Green and Klay are only 27:eek2:; steph and KD are 29 and 28; they have like 4 or 5 years left before they actually begin to decline :eek2:; iggy is 33 and livingston is 31 but they are bench players; so they got like what 2 to 3 years in them left; maybe longer; Mcgee is 29 but hes a young 29; zaza and west are 33 and 36 but they can be replace; and if they win this year, both of those will probably stay; why would they leave? :lol:and everyone else is super young; they gonna be tough to beat for years....

If they stay together, by the time they're done running through the league, Lebron won't be great enough anymore to lead a team.

I can't see Lebron doing what he doing three years from now. I just can't.

BUT ... we thought Miami would run through the league. Thought Boston would do the same. Never know how shit'll turn out...

...and there are injuries, too.

If GS wins this year, it wont matter when LBJ starts to decline; unless Cavs do something very very drastic, it wont matter.....
I never thought Boston would run thru the league fam; I knew that would be short lived; I thought Miami would at first but they got old quick; Really D Wade got old quick; Plus none of those teams were as good as GS to me; we have never seen in our lifetime what the warriors were able to pull off; Klay 27, Green 27, KD 28, Steph 29 :eek2:; and remember they already have a chip; so if they win this year thats 2; and they will atleast have 4-5 years before they start to decline; remember jump shooters age better in the NBA; thats why Kyrie wont last as long as Curry;

Heres the thing fam; LBJ wants to play in this type of offense; he wants to be the center of control; playing in a movement, motion style offense isnt what he wants; remember blatt wanted to install that type of offense, and LBJ was like fuck no; so lets just throw that out; also as far as trades; They only have 2 viable trade chips; thats kyrie and love; none of the other players are worth anything; so there maybe plenty of teams that might take Love, but who they get that would actually make them just as good or better than GS? like for example Boston wanted Love, but who on Boston would make them better or just as good as GS? and lets just say that they do trade with knicks for Melo; they would be worst than they are now; and remember LBJ isnt getting any younger...

He had 18 boards though bruh... he contributed something... Tristan and them were more responsible for this loss than Love Bruh...
He had an insane amount in that 1st qt I think, and then basically disappeared. 4-13 is unacceptable. And we know his defense sucks. He has to put up on the offensive end for us to have a chance period.

I would like to know what do you honestly think the Cavs can do to stop GS?? not a bait question and im not being petty; I just really would like to know how you feel about that

Man, the only thing they can really do is bring offense. But Love shooting 4-13 isn't going to cut it. And that game plan of giving up the lane is just ugly.

Naw, I just appreciate dominance and excellent BBall; I love the way GS plays; reminds me of how they use to play in the 70s and 80s; people forget those teams in the whole league push the ball and had multiple players passing shooting etc; not this isolation ball play that was ushered in by MJ; and not this bullshit walk it up the court and run a set play every fucking time like Jeff VanGundy use to do; BBall is supposed to be constant action, constant movement, improvising, players making plays, etc etc.. and GS is closes thing we got to that; I also marvel how they drafted and developed their players; something that most teams dont do....

If Golden State wins this year its been one of the greatest 3-year runs in NBA history. Last time was the Jordan 3 peat bulls from 96-98 with the 69 win season. Golden state is young enough to make this a 5 year run. Yes they are that good.

They gotta give up something though; you cant hug the shooters and control the paint; they dont have the players to do that; I think the biggest thing is LBJ cant be a roover on defense; he has to guard someone and thats a big issue; hes not going to be able to run the offense, play 42 mins, and guard KD; that shit is dam near impossible...

Here is the more telling stat though; the Warriors missed 15 layups in the first half:eek2:; not took but missed :eek2:not game but first fucking half:eek2::smh:think about that for a min; they should have been up even more than what they were.....

Yeah, the Cavs were playing not to get blown out in the first half

Yep:yes::yes:People dont really look at whats really going on; with LBJ playing unbelievable and Kyrie playing great, they barely won last year; barely; and now GS is even better; IF they win this year, we are probably going to witness a run that will rival MJ and the 80s Lakers; probably be better!!

Kyrie is going to need to level up to make this doable. Lebron game is what it is. The only person on that squad who can realistically do more is Kyrie. I don't know if he will...

...but with his skills, he HAS to be more aggressive. He may not efficient, but I rather shoot 40 percent and get that ring, than shoot 50 and lose.

Or more recently, like the style of Bball that the Spurs were playing when they were a dynasty, owning the West and folks were calling them boring.

MJ did usher in that selfish/iso shit, but he was so good and athletic, so it was fun to watch. But he didnt start winning titles until he toned down his iso style and started passing/trusting his teammates.

The reason my Bulls prospered under Tom Tibby was because he emphasized passing the ball. Passing the ball open things up and helps your "not so good players" get easier looks; it also helps you stars be dominate more times than not.

I think a younger LBJ would gladly welcome in that type of offense. Todays LBJ might welcome it as well. It all depends on how bad he wants to win/beat GS. He has rings. Won a title in his home town. He's already a HOF'er. So what else does he want? Does he want to beat the new look GS? We'll find out after the Warriors eliminate him in 1-2 weeks.

Bruh, you always need to play defense ... but, you ultimately need to be able to put the ball in the basket. There is only so much stopping GS, and if thats true, anybody on Cleveland that CAN score, needs to score MORE.

They were a 73-win team before Durant. I fear the addition of Durant might be too much to overcome.

True true; but I think GS plays better at it than what the Spurs were; but I do agree with you; I really dont like iso ball at all; and I agree with you about MJ; it will be interesting to see what LBJ does once this series is over; With how he wants to get paid and who he is as a player, I think there it will be some tough decisions for him

You are probably right about that...
Lebron is about to ship Love out this offseason. That dude is going to be so pissed and he knows this Durant move might be what cost him his ring.

I called Durant so many bitches last night, probably set a record. But Lebron will break that record if the Cavs lose and there will be a shakeup with the team. His window is closing.

Yea you will be calling KD a lot of bitches before this series is done with; I just think Cavs have no one that can guard/stop him; Its too much to ask LBJ to run/facilitate the offense, play 42 mins, and guard KD:eek:; thats a lot to ask; Plus KD is just 1 part; there is multiple heads to this snake; and Curry playing like this :smh:; they were beaten by 20 and Klay didnt score offensively:smh:; I never like how Cavs were playing defense this season; I didnt like how they were playing defense in the playoffs; and its showing now; The issue is even if they do trade Love, who are they gonna get thats gonna really make that big of a difference??

What hurts your legacy more... Losing in the playoffs and never winning a chip, or going to GS and winning one or more? A lot of people and more importantly players are bitching and moaning about what he did, but I guarantee you on the humble ALL of them motherfuckers wish the league was set up where they could have done it, or wish they had thought of it first...

Barkley, Reggie, all those motherfuckers talking that shit because it's easy to stand as a righteous judge on something you no longer have the option to do to make yourself seem like a 'soldier' or some shit because they are jealous of Dude, and y'all drinking that damn Koolaid....

KD may have 'lost' a few bills on the front end, but he will damn sure get it on the back end after winning a chip and probably MVP if this shit keeps up, and miss me with that legacy bullshit.... The same people shitting on him for this would have been and were shitting on him for never winning a chip so duck wishy washy motherfuckers and their arm chair analysis which don't mean shit in the grand scheme of things....

Notice how you NEVER hear about the 'other' players Jordan beat during their run? Why, because they are irrelevant as fuck... Notice how the context in which CP3, Blake, etc are reference is usually in a negative way even though they are amazing players!?!?!

At the end of the day, KD did him, and the only people bitching about it are players who are jealous it wasn't them, or niggas sitting home with no concept of the magnitude of this decision OR mad because something like this hasn't happened for their team yet.... All this fake ass outrage is hilarious
I have heard Charles recently say that he doesn't think not having a championship defines you as a player...he is also now saying..(and I think it's a result of Shaq constantly telling him he can't speak on certain shit because he is not a champion)...that if he had known that everybody was going to make such a big deal out of it, he would have made a call to Mike or somebody and said hey let me come play with you guys. I don't think you can say how relevant a former player is based on who's talking about them. Anybody that really knows basketball, knows damn well Reggie,Pat, Charles, Malone and everybody else Jordan beat out of title are still b-ball legends. This generation is the internet-microwave generation and the only shit relevant to them is what's in their face. Trust me, if Shaq, wasn't all over the T.V...along with his ex wife and family, nobody would be talking about him. Akeem got back to back rings when Jordan was away and he dominated, and there's barely a whisper about him from mainstream media, because he stays low-key. Shit, if it wasn't for the tennis shoe and the retros, this generation wouldn't give a shit about Jordan himself. I think both sides happen to be right in this case. He's right for wanting to go somewhere, where he has a chance of accomplishing something and his critics are right because it's a bitch move to go to that particular team, that he was up on the previous season.

It's kind of sickening as a Cleveland fan. We did get our chip, but than KD did the ultimate bitch shit(I admit I wouldn't be saying that if he joined the Cavs).

Series isn't done yet, but Love is Lovin' shit up. Defense is lost. TT looks like he just started playing the game last week.

And remember how you tried to act like Curry was so healthy last year; explain why he couldnt drive by TT or Love last year, but this year hes able to go by them with ease; completely embarrassing them; explain that....

As far as the game goes, people need to calm down. G.S. may win, but it's not like they beat the Cavs last night while the Cavs were playing great. After the first quarter, they started playing terrible. And I don't think K.D. is bringing something so great to the team. He's just scoring in a different way. Basically scoring the points that Clay and Steph would have scored anyway..or points that would have come from Clay and a combo of other people. It just looks better coming from a 7 footer that plays the way he plays.
