Riley ran that team into the ground then gave it to Spo. This was after firing Van Gundy (the Shaq years) but having him lie and say that he was leaving for "Family "Reasons". Riley was disrespecting Shaq in practice to the point that Shaq got into in with him and Zo had to step between them. Shipped Shaq off to Phoenix , kept running two hour practices, Wade staying injured maybe as a result. 15 win season.

A lot doesn't get covered by national media so they just follow the general notions.

The Arena got built under his watch. Believe me, it was needed. Miami Arena was a aging relic.

Shaq 30-20 game six vs the Bulls got us in the Finals which was a close series.
Wade showed of in the Finals though.
Truth be told , Coach Avery is a joke. Him insisting on making Shaq the focal point and not adjusting when Wade showed the world what Heat fans have been seeing for years was a major mistake.
After the Mavs lost game 4, coach Avery sent the Mavs players families home and let the press know about it.
