Watched the first 2 eps yesterday. Enjoyed it. Easy to get through at just under 30 mins per. Like fam’ have noted, good mix of nostalgia and social commentary, mixed in with comedy, martial arts, high school angst and revisiting characters from some 34 years ago. Spotted someone I was familiar with too. Bret Ernst as the taller car salesman at Larusso’s business. Small role for him. He’s a stand-up comic and co-host of the You’re on the List podcast alongside Pete Giovine.

This shit was over the top with fan service and 3's Company plot devices, Johnny and Danny look old as fuck and the kids are all weird AS fuck and after watching the all 10 episodes back to back I'm going to probably need season 2 right away to form a full opinion.

The ending had me on edge. Did not see that coming at all.
So much more story to be told.
Cobra Kai is back!!

Yeah, thought it would be some feel-good shit. This was a well-made show. No wasted episodes. Great flow. You don't even have to know shit about the 80s movies to dig this shit, but for those of us who do, it's just great writing.

I watched the entire series in a complete binge while stuck at home with ankle injury. I'm not proud of that fact because as I watched it I new it wasn't that good and yet it kept me watching. In short its like Mae West, when its good its very good but when its bad its better. This series has a plot twist or two that would make Tyler Perry blush. The most fun in the whole series is the Johnny Lawrence character. He may be the 21st century Archie Bunker. Another thing that they get right is about the reckless nature of your average strip mall Karate Dojo's. I'd guess that anyone who took Karate or some other Marshall art back in the 70's or 80's either got hurt or knows someone who did. It happened to me and I watched some folks get hurt a few weeks before I did. It didn't take long.

I signed up for the YouTube trial. Just going to decide if I want to continue it. I know I can find anything on here and other places but I want to watch what I want when I want
YouTube Red came with my Google Music subscription. If shit like this keeps coming to YouTube red its the best $7.99 I have ever spent.

I also watched the whole thing at once.

Great writing and I grew up on this shit. They even nodded to Iron Eagle. If you watched Karate Kid you also watched Iron Eagle. As a kid I watched both of these all of the time. I even had the Karate Kid book . Smh. Lol
