We talking about a team with a championship core and finished #1 in the league. In a league that was theirs to take. Instead, they got thumped in 5 games in the first round. That’s enough for coaching changes and player movement.

In my opinion the Cavs season was also a failure.
They traded for Mitchell, worked hard to get into the playoffs. We're the higher seed and laid an egg and only won one game.
