{~}Official 2022-2023 NBA Thread - it’s that time again, this thread coming to a end

Who is your big man now?
The same big man that has been here for years....Horford.

Williams is a walking hospital bedpan. Williams is never healthy.
Brogdan missed half the playoff because he is always injured and is still mad that he was offered in the Porzingis trade.

we will roll with Horford and Porzingis.

Heat gonna have a tough season because every team got better except them and it's crazy they went to the finals and couldn't even get Jrue holiday. Also, they lost depth as well.

Yea I talked about that. 2 of those undrafted guys they "built up" and who helped them in their playoff run had to go somewhere else to get paid. Players notice things like that. They also notice how fans treat and talk about all time greats that previously played and won championships for them. Especially someone who is the highest paid NBA player of all time. Miami's Big 3 of Butler, Adebayo, and Herro has to be healthy and playing at a high level for them all season just for them to compete this season. All of those guys will have to make up for the guys they lost and talent they didn't add.

Why over pay for undrafted players when we can just find more?

Again, you guys see your old white executive as the star of your franchise when it's a players league. There's something to be said about compensating your players when they ball out for you. We'll see how it works out this season.

Let them guys go get paid.
There are plenty of talented guys that are looking for an opportunity to flourish in our system.
Look out for big man Orlando Robinson this year
I see you; but it is going to be hard to duplicate that many undrafted players. good luck.

Didn't expect Jrue to get traded this weekend.

Portland got a good haul. More than they would have gotten for @therealjondoe boy

Boston is going to miss Robert Williams

The East is going to be interesting. Embiid can't be happy.
Good haul but Williams and Brogden are broken.
Good for Boston on getting rid of them but their defense will be suspect this year.

Embiid needs to suck it up and play and stop bitching. Morey doing a lot of dumb shit which most of this is his fault. The dumb ass sixers owner worrying about football instead of the shit storm that's going on with the sixers and the harden circus.

They devalued and watered down the Finals and NBA championships teaming up to beat the GOAT after just playing each other in a competitive series. It came way too easy, was too predictable prior to the season, and wasnt entertaining basketball (even tho BGOL LeBron haters swore it was ROFL). Ever since then every chip has been given an asterisk or context and fans have put more emphasis on regular season (MVP races, scoring titles, ASG selections, all NBA selections) than the Finals. It doesn't give you that clout that it once did. A lot of fans haven't even been watching the Finals the last few years when it was must see TV in decades past. Fans even openly give props to players who never played in a Finals over guys who've won multiple chips.

See you in the eastern conference finals

And we can officially end the "Miami gave a better deal" bullshit from media clowns and @therealjondoe..

They turned Holiday into two 1st round picks and two starters.

Pat Riley= :clown
