The shooting guard ballhog brands were never truly rooted in a love for the game. Just selfish self promotion, product placement, and trolling other all time great players to distinguish their brands. Kobe stans LIED and pretended they were these passionate Laker fans that bleed purple and gold just like Michael Jordan fans LIED that they were basketball purists who's only concern was protecting the integrity of the game. Crazy shit is, Kobe actually went to LeBron Laker games and cheered the team on courtside, but his stans hate Bron more than they ever loved Kobe at this point. So they don't care if he would be passionate about this team, they only reminisce about him or name drop him when they lose or something bad happens. But swear he wasn't a loser!!!

In this era, simply liking a player more than another doesn't make them better. We use advanced statistics, body of work, and the eyeball test. Hardens teams asked waaaaaay more of him and he's produced better numbers while being far more durable and lasting longer.

Harden is a better scorer, playmaker, rebounder. The gap in their offense is wider than the gap in their defense. D Wade was never MVP of the NBA he had a 2 year window of 1st team all NBA play, but Hardens run has lasted longer and he did more in the playoffs despite less team success. Trust me, this won't be difficult for fans in the future to decide, you're being a homer for Wade. He barely won 1 playoff series without Bron or Shaq as his teammate. Harden taking teams to the 2nd round and WCF for over half a decade was more impressive.

Show me UD's salary and impact on the game? Championships are special because of the camradarie between players accomplishing a common goal and becoming the best as a team.
