So that "LeBron has no bag" statement is true... but that can be said about most nba players INCLUDING Jordan in my opinion.
When I think of a player having a "bag," certain players come to mind instantly... Kyrie... Paul George... KD... Kobe... Steph... Olajuwon... young Ray Allen... AI... J Crossover... Abdul-Rauf... Grant Hill... CP3...
to me, a bag is essentially having a handle to break down your offender to the point they look silly and the ability to finish the move... a lot of nba players have one or the other... a good handle but an inability to finish, or no handle but can finish around the rim or anywhere else with consistency.
Of the big 3 (Jordan, LeBron, Kobe) I feel like only Kobe had a bag. You hear people talk about him and the one thing they all mention is FOOTWORK and how solid Kobe was... there are some that say he was more gifted than Jordan on that aspect of his game and use that as a deciding factor when discussing the GOAT.
Just as people say LeBron has no bag, Jordan went away from his and broke down his game to the basics... 2 dribble, stop, pull up and lace it... or his fadeaway from the post... young Jordan had a bag and would constantly break his defender down then finish at the rim with authority, but he later adjusted his game to best benefit what Phil wanted to execute because it was WINNING basketball and left his bag behind in favor of winning championships...
So to me, if you're looking at it objectively, LeBron really doesn't have a bag... those years in Miami, what i consider to be the best version of LeBron in his entire career, he was going to the rim and putting you in that mufucca... his mindset seemed to be "I'm not settling for jump shots" and at 6'8, 260lbs that's a SCARY thought.
So I can agree that LeBron doesn't have a bag but neither did a lot of the greats... and that doesn't take away from their greatness...
Just my 2 cents
