I have a feeling the Finals will be going 6 games too.

I could realistically see it going for either team.

The output from BOTH teams' dynamic duos is obviously most important / key.

Is Lively healthy enough? His high shooting percentage is a game changer for Dallas in helping out Kyrie / Luka.

Porzingis' return for Boston ... Derrick White's continued contributions. Same from Holiday.

I'll say 60 / 40 edge to Boston.

Celtics in 6 games.

Thanks.

I was saying to some friends and coworkers ... high percentage shots (and 2nd chance opportunities) are so key at that elite level.

It's great to watch the best shooters in the zone and putting up huge numbers.

On the flip side - it's tough to see teams (regular or post season) having a rough game and settling for difficult jumpers, or tens of 3s.

That's why guys like Lively, Gafford, and Jones can (and do) really help out a team like Dallas. Dunks and points in close are so helpful. Having great passers like Luka and Kyrie make the game even easier for them. Luka and Kyrie don't have many off nights, but when they do ... they can depend on guys like that to help them out.

I’m going with Boston with the assumption that
Porzingis will be healthy and can play.

I do think Dallas has a better bench than Boston and if Hardaway, who has been playing like shit since coming back from injury, plays good, he can cause a problem. I think he could be the X factor on the second unit. Big IF

Dallas is going to need PJ to be consistent to have a chance.

Totally agreed.

But the issue is that Dallas has two starting cones on defense and we well know who they are.

That is who the Celtics always attack.
Luka "literally" plays no defense.
and we know Kyrie is as bad as Dame on defense.

Celtics entire team are defensive specialist going 6 deep.

Mavs really need their bench to be all in to win

Facts. I’m going to assume Hardaway will get more playing time since he is a Vet over Hardy. Not sure how Kidd rotations will be, but he can put up 20 in like 10 minutes if his shot is hitting

I agree though, Luka and Kyrie play zero defense.
White and Holiday will lock they asses down.

You out here being a BGOL “squatter”

Pay the fee:curse:

I was a paying subscriber when HNIC let a loser mod suspend me for no reason for over a year (notice there aren’t even rules posted anymore)… Didn’t even refund the prorated donation for the time I was banned— again, based on the subjective decision of someone who just has a grudge against me. Despite me being a contributor here since at least 2002.

He will never get another dollar from me. He’s lucky I still post here— I should have taken my talents to Reddit a long time ago.

i got boston in 6. both sets of stars gonna score but i expect bostons length 1-5 to effect dallas'shooting. minnesota didn't have consistent 2nd and 3rd options ....didn't shoot the 3 well throughout the series and still kept it close. so it'll be interesting to see who dallas will try to slow down. feel like the game has slowed down for jaylen and he's on a mission to dominate. if porzingis is effective this could be over in 5.

I'm going with Dallas.

1. Dallas had to play good, healthy teams after the first round. Boston played a bunch of hurt teams throughout the East.

2. Kyrie has proven that he can hit THE shot in the Finals.

3. Even if Porzingis is back, he probably won't be 100%.

4. Boston is reliant on their 3s falling, their only backup plan is to shoot more threes.

ok ok
I see you.
good points.
now some analysis on mavs.
Who is going to be there 3,4,5th option....mavs are a two-option team.

During the season they did the same thing luka 37 kyrie 24+ andMavs still lost big in both games.

Who is making up all the 120+ points they will need per game to stop the Celtics?

On that subject, crazy how five seconds of audio from KingBronballsucka masturbating was used in this song:

Well, PJ Washington only played the Celtics once as a Mav this season and that was three weeks after joining the team. Same with Gafford and he only played for 6 minutes in that game.

The Mavs have averaged 108 points this post season. Their strategy is death by a thousand cuts. Luka, Kyrie, and PJ get their usual points and everyone else gets 4-10 points when they have the opportunity.

Having to deal with Lively and Gafford will be a challenge for Boston.

@shaddyvillethug GiGi's soul is in there. Bron won that ring for her memory. When you say the bubble don't count or don't mean nothing, we all laugh offline, cuz what you really mean is, that little girl's life and existence don't count and it don't mean nothing. Now that's the real killer instinct!! :itsawrap:
