Last nights epi was pretty good. I didnt catch that Charlie's brother was in the epi until I watched it the second time.

Heres a pretty good in depth analysis of "Recon".

yeah, it all seems to be coming full circle, the flash sideways.
rose works for hurley, hurley knows locke, locke knows jack, jack knows charlie, charlie is in sawyers jail, sawyer knows kate. kate knows claire. sayids brother is in jacks hospital, and sayid knows jin who is married to sun. jack also mentioned going to the dentist, just a hunch, but bernard is a dentist.

locke also knows ben, and jack knows desmond.

he can also explain how the ship ended up in the middle of the island. he did some recruiting of his own. remember a while back he went to see Locke as a child. he can explain why that was. he can also explain why Locke choosing the knife was the wrong decision. theres a lot of stuff he can explain.
not that any of it is important:
was he really a prisoner on the ship?
how did dharma get to the island, as well as the army?
explain what happens in the temple, or what is supposed to happen, since he took Ben there as a child.
he can also tell us what happened to the statue.
he might even be able to tell us who adam and eve are.
but will he, doubt it. he'll probably just give out a bunch of "its a long story" "you wont understand" "i dont remeber" "what was the question again'.

we wont get many answers about jacob and MIB/smoke monster until the last few episodes of the season.

I was just sitting here thinking we might get a "filling" amount of answers. In theory Richard shouldn't have a "Sideways" flash which should give him more time to explain his past. Maybe kinda like episode 7 of season 2 "The Other 48 Days".

also, in the new timeline, sawyer says his parents died when he was 9 (well, thats what the article said), but he mentioned on the island, that they died when he was 8.

my memory is hazey on this, but why did widmore have nadia killed? remember the episode where ben meets with sayid and gives him this list of names, and he goes and kill all the people. i believe they worked for widmore, right.

I thought it was a setup by Ben, Ben had Nadia killed and then he used Sayid to get at Widmore.

Syid had to be married twice. Cause Jacob was there when nadia got hit by the car. But when he got off the island he was at a funeral when ben came to him. yea you need to re watch and let us know.

I think once Sayid killed all those people it made it easier for Ben to get at Widmore. To let Widmore know that he was gonna kill Penelope. But I also remember Ben telling Sayid that Widmore had people watching the Oceanic 6.

I dont think it was just a car accident cause the vehicle never slowed down and it just kept going and then turned the corner.

Sayid was only married to Nadia. Jacob was there when Nadia was killed. and Ben showed up at the funeral for Nadia in Iraq to recruit Sayid. All of that happened once Sayid got off the island.

im guessing he came off the ship. in what capacity, i dont know. i think making him a slave on the ship would be too obvious of an answer.

Why would he be slave? The more obvious answer is that he was a prisoner dont you think? Not 100% on history, but I dont think colonials made slaves of their peers...

slave/prisoner, in that sense. not a slave like that. but someone who was aboard the ship unwillingly.
