Desmond is such a great character. You just know there's going to be main plot-line story progression when he's involved.

Yea me too. I feel like an idiot. I remembered as soon as I saw Widmore's wife.
That was a good episode.
What I wanna know is who is Penny's mother. In the original timeline. Penny's last name is Widmore, but in the sideways its Milton. Now Daniel is Widmore instead of Faraday. Both Penny and Daniel are close to the same age. In the original timeline you got the feeling that Faraday was Widmore's son but it was never confirmed. And we know that Charles and Eloise were together on the island. So you have to assume Daniel was born first and Penny was born after somewhere off the island. We also know that at some point the island existed in the sideways timeline thanks to Ben's father. So how the hell did Widmore get or stay married after knocking another bitch up after he already had a kid with Eloise? And where did the name Faraday come from?...

Good episode! So let me get this straight. Desmond can now kinda "jump" between alternate universes and be aware? I was kinda in and out of the episode from not getting enough sleep the night before. But from what I took from the episode is he's now gonna gather up the 815 people and tell them this isn't their "real" reality? Almost makes me wonder what does Jacob and Flocke has to do with this. I mean I know Jacob is there to keep Flocke from leaving but it seems like a totally different story. I guess it'll all come together in the next few weeks. I hate how this show holds your hand though and keeps you

ohhhhhhhhhhhhh, he was the dude that was strapped down, correct? The one desmond and sayid met.
It was a confusing episode. but it was good.
Last nights epi was good. I think it relates to the episode "The Constant" in which Desmond had to find an anchor to stop his time traveling, which happened to be Penny. What I don't get is why was he so eerily calm after passing out in front of Penny and coming to on the island. Maybe he knows what he has to do. 
Anybody else notice that there was a chair in that box that they threw Desmond into that looked like the chair that we first saw "Jacob" sit in when Ben first brought Locke to Jacob's cabin?

I was about to agree with dude who said that everyone in the sideways always looks at themself in the mirror all crazy like. But Desmond didnt. Maybe Charlies blonde that he saw was clair. And now he is looking for her. When they put desmond in that thing, maybe he saw the flash sidways alt/verse when he was out. Thats why he asked how long he had been out. Now he is so willing to help because he believes this is whats about to happen.

the desmond episodes are usually the best..
notice the ship he originally crashed on the island was hanging in widmore's office as well as a painting with the scale and white and black rock on them on what looked like the mural that was in the hatch....
also the chair and magnetic room they locked desmond in resembles jacobs/mib's cabin with the same rocking chair..

this is why i watch every episode twice.
desmonds wasnt a flash sideways i believe. he was going back and forth in between both worlds. he was aware of what was happening. i guess the mirrors are so the other can take a look at themselves and realize whats happening
