I just finished watching it.
Good series finale, could have been better but it closed everything out perfectly.
Doing the timeline and bringing up the quantum realm was good and gave a good explanation on why they are not directly connected to recent events in the MCU.
It’s obvious the timeline they showed at the end with where the characters are is different from the MCU. Mack is now director and doing the Nick Fury thing with his dress. Mac said he was doing something in Moscow. This season was suppose to debut after “Black Widow” so I will suspect his comment has something to do with events in the movie.
Quake and Sousa are out in space being “Guardians of the Galaxy”.
Good to see Coulson with the corvette. At this time he is still the only SHIELD person to show us a SHIELD flying car. Nick Fury tried to use it in “Winter Soldier” but Winter Soldier damaged the vehicle.
They set it up for the characters to go off into different stories in future projects which should be interesting.
I need to go back and look again at those agents who arrived with the different packages. A young Agent Hand was obvious when she shot Garrett. The other agents must have connections to folks in the MCU. The old guy with the plastic bag I’m suspecting is the black dude with “The Howling Commandos” we was in the first Capt America movie.
Another thing I caught was when Fitz and them were in the temple. Fitz started drilling into the stone wall to mount the piece of equipment. That temple and what he mounted reminded of Season One Episode Two when they went to Peru to retrieve that object mounted on the wall that was connected to Hydra and was powered from the Tesseract. Not sure if their was similiarities.
Looking forward to what Disney is going to do with their characters.
