Teachers are very often manic depressive, or just damned depressed.
The job is so hard in some cases, you can COUNT on certain parks, after 3 p.m., to be
loaded with teachers tokin' and sippin' just to get back to "normal" mode.
Armed teachers is a recipe for even worse disasters.

In my experience, in most public school settings, usually roughly half the teaching staff is white, even in black districts.
Frankly, they are far more likely to be educated and certified to teach.

Many, not all, but a significant percentage, have a missionary approach to the job: they want to help, but also think they know what is best for people about whom they know very little.
There are FAR too many who have an overseer mentality: they put up with the bullshit job because the benefits are good, and they get summers off. They view the populations they teach as savages.
Do you want to work across the hall from one of the latter, authorized to carry and use a firearm at an elementary school?
I would not.
How the fuck they announce that they're gonna charge them without having them in custody? No surveillance was on them even though there were clear signs of charges coming .... for days? During their sons arraignment they weren't even present.... they were doing Zoom from a moving vehicle... even they figured it out

The administration SHOULD have called the police upon seeing the drawings and writings indicative of a fucked up psyche.
The prosecuter should NEVER have announced charges before it was certain the parents were not in custody already, or at least under observation by local police.
But they always want to blame teachers for fucked up kids.
Some people ain't got no business fuckin', as kids are often the result.
