i finally encountered the first major boss.
all i'm gonna say is, collect as many scadutree fragments as possible
this bastard is EXTREMELY difficult to beat.
Yeah getting the scadutree fragments help a lot. I got destroyed the first few hours smh lol.
same. i wandered into this temple-like structure in the middle of those tombstones, to fight that miniboss in there. i literally died as soon as i spawned in. The Devs are making us work for this one lol
i did take out that dragon on my 2nd attempt though.

even the regular 'undead' dudes walking around hit you hard as fuck.

man those undead dudes, esp the ones carrying weapons, tend to get a running start and 'launch' into you like a free safety lol
in the previous game (remake intergrade) i got stuck on Yuffie's side content. eventually i just gave up and stopped playingAbsolutely love it. It's a lotta fun
if i can somehow get around that, then i can finish the game, then purchase the new one (rebirth).
i did not want to play those silly board games vs the NPC's in remake intergrade (the ones where yuffie is talking to npc's)
any advice?

I'm having issues with the DLC. It says it's installed on my PS5 but it won't load up...I talked to someone from tech support they wanted me to delete the main game and reinstall it. I'm not going through that shit again especially dealing with the Subterranean Shunning Grounds. That area is hard ass fuck...

i had the same issue.
first i downloaded a patch ( i got excited thinking it was the DLC ready to go.)
nope
then i had to download the actual DLC 15gb
so i ended up waiting for 2 hrs for all that
then i tried to enter mohg's area and interact with the cocoon - nothing
i was getting pissed.
what helped is after the actual dlc download finished, you gotta reboot your system
i'm on the PS5
you should see some very small text on the bottom right of the screen
i personally saw a progress bar flash VERY quickly and disappear
then when you enter mohgs area there will be a NPC standing there for you to interact with.
no need to delete and redownload the base game. that is bullshit.

Messmer the Impaler is just flat out ridiculous bruh, dude 2 shot me consistently. I gave up lol. I had to go to YouTube and find out how you can beat him. I'll get at him this weekend when I'm off work. I got so much shit I still haven't found yet. It's like you are playing a whole new game on this DLC.

i have not gotten quite that far. yeah without scadutree upgrades this shit is punishing. I end up having to buy the digital version from the playstation store but my progress was saved so I don't have to completely do all that shit again....

Im not big on buying a game digitally. Especially,when certain companies are trying to stop the use of physical copies and when they shut the servers down for the game I'll have my copy.
