i heard about that today. they are basically making it easier to locate the scadutree fragments, among other things. Gonna hop on and see what it's all about. haven't played since Saturday.

People complain too much about everything. I don't understand,why people who play these type of games thought they were going to one shot enemies with their high builds knowing Miyazaki gave them a warning for weeks that the DLC was different from the main game. Then, have the audacity to tell newbies they need to "git gud" to defeat enemies from the main game.

I normally don't play souls games but the few that I've played I don't have a problem with the difficulty. Maybe,because when I was younger the games then were hard.

It's disappointing because I didn't get a chance to see,how my build would stack up.

Most of the people that are complaining have low vigor. Like,I said the other day;I don't understand,why someone complain about getting one-shotted but has low vigor.

I've been watching folks have 20 or 30-something vigor on YouTube but get made they got killed easily. They put all their points into endurance, strength and dexterity but not vigor...

Even,my samurai and death mage is close to 40 vigor and I just beat Rahdan in the main game just a few days ago. My high mage(yes,I have two mages...lol) has over 60+ vigor and I got my ass whooped but I'm not complaining because Miyazaki warn everyone that the DLC was different.

I just hate,how these companies let the complainers speak for the community. That's why I stopped playing Fortnite because folks were bitching about the sniper rifle and Epic nerfed it to the point that it wasn't worth getting it and eventually,I stopped playing the game.

Shit bro in demon souls I never made it off the first mission. It a dragon up top, die every time trying to get past this guard on the bridge. One hit and he kills me.

Before,I brought my PS5 and Elden;I was playing Dark Souls Remastered on the Switch and I'm still at the beginning...I'm not ready for the rest of the game.

Hell,I stopped playing Hollow Knight cuz the end is hard ass fuck...lol

i was alternating between DS3 remastered and Sekiro when the elden ring DLC dropped.
made some progress in DS3 but really struggled with the janky movements and the way the enemies tended to swarm on you.

The gaming industry is so fucked up right now because you have a lot of companies that doing battle passes,loot boxes, releasing half ass games,making games easier,making games shorter,etc,etc and etc..

Then,you have game journalists instead of doing a unbiased game review they putting their personal ideology disguised as a game review.

Then,you have a bunch of fans that bitch and complain that a game is hard or a particular spell/weapon needs to be nerf.Thats why I can't fuck with Fortnite anymore because that fan base will bitch and complain about getting killed with a head shot by a sniper rifle (they nerfed the sniper rifle four times the last two seasons) but had no problem with the water bending killing folks from far away. Matter of fact,they buffed the water bending while nerfing the sniper rifle. Shit,made no sense at all.


The gaming industry as a whole is a shit show, especially here in Amerikkka and the European companies. It seems like Japan,China and South Korea is saving the industry at the moment.

What's crazy,I had them(there's two people inside the costume) more than half way the first two tries but I backed myself in a corner and they got me while I was trying to heal. The third time,I used the summon that's outside the door but forgot to use a buff and the last time I used the summon and my mimic spirit ashes to beat them.


I don't understand,why people make something hard on themselves and then bitch and complain about the game being too hard. I'm going to use whatever's necessary to beat a boss.

I'm going to explore that castle some more before moving on though.

I later fought an armored hippo boss (not that one you encounter in the water) and beat him on my 2nd attempt.
I then ran into a female boss (sister of queen renalla in the base game in think). their names are similar. bitch pulled out dual light sabres like she was a sith lord or something lol. And she kicked my ass. She is more aggressive than radagon.
just having fun exploring at this point

It's crazy to me that folks want FromSoftware to change their formula. Everything can't be for everyone but some reason people want to force their beliefs on the company especially when that same company gives the players many ways to beat a boss.

last night i managed to take down a dragon, a major boss, and cleared 2 catacombs (i hate those. they creep me out)
i think i only have 2 areas left to discover.
there is a MAJOR jumping puzzle that blocks access to some areas of the DLC. not a puzzle in the true sense. it involves hopping onto structures. i must have died 40x trying to get it right.

I'm still at the beginning area. I entered Castle Enis last night. I'll probably play tonight..I'm not looking forward to the other areas though.

there is a forest towards the late game areas of the DLC, where, lets just say, you're better off using stealth. the enemies can basically kill you on sight and you can't really do shit about it. I went there, found some cool stuff, got the hell out of that place lol

So i found and took down Rellana last night in the elden ring DLC. What worked for me was to summon mimic tear to distract her. That chick is very aggressive and will one shot you. I kept distance and hit her with rock sling to chip away at her while mimic kept her engaged. Whenever she would react and come after me, i'd then switch to bloodhound fang +10 and get some licks in. i actually staggered her a couple of times. Surprisingly i beat her on my first attempt yesterday, after getting my ass kicked a few days ago.


later on i ran into Messmer the impaler. the run you have to go on just to find this dude
i only fought him once as i was getting tired.
Managed to get into his 2nd phase - just past half health before he killed me.
He's tough but i know i can take him.
