Wegmans - bc they're the closest. Prices are high but the food is top fucking notch. Even the Wegmans branded items are fucking delicious. And the meals to go... Don't get me started. Fresh fruit, fresh fish selection,

Amazon Fresh - bc I'm usually buying shit from Amazon anyway. Fresh foods can't hold a candle to Wegmans though.

Lidl, Aldi, Trader Joe's, Safeway/Giant - when I feel like traveling more than 1.25 miles (they're all within a 2-5 mile radius)

Went out just now for tacos (It's Tuesday) and saw a Sprouts on the East-West Connector off South Cobb drive.

Stopped in...clean, no self checkout. Prices high as hell.

They had Carolina Gold style BBQ sauce 4 for 5.00 (discontinued item). I scooped em up. @LongLocs85

They rang up normal price but she changed it at checkout and told me to get the app cause all their sales are listed there.

It's a little rich for my blood but I'll come back armed with the app if there's good sales.

Any recommendations on where to get real cranberry juice or a brand you recommend?

Usually it's watered down or mixed with apple or pear juice for sweetness.

Meijer - Shop and Scan app lets me shop and bag my groceries and just scan them into the self check out kiosk.
Jewel Osco - Some in-house items that they make; Tortilla Chips, seafood salad and chicken
Fresh Market - Items that white stores either aren't going to have or just have the shyttiest version of them.

Any cranberry juice in the store is from concentrate in most cases. I think r w knudsen is supposedly one of the better brands. You can make your own tho.

I went to Restaurant Depot yesterday and got some romaine, spinach, roma tomatoes, and a box of 60 avocados, along with some other stuff. $134

I was thinking about a 40# box of chicken party wings @ $1.66/#. I would have to divide it up into freezer bags and freeze. It would get me through winter and give me something to do in finding different recipes and ways to prepare them.

I still haven't gotten an air fryer, but I do have a counter deep fryer.

I had been buying these at RD for about $15, but decided not to yesterday while I was there. $15 is a grip. I use them to make wraps with spinach, diced tomatoes, avocado, and aoli sauce.

I'll try to find them somewhere else cheaper.

Do you have a fresh thyme near you? It's on sale there for a bit cheaper.

Not sure. I've been thinking about finding a place with fresh or exotic spices...closer to home.

Best place I know of is Dekalb Farmers Market which is way over town like Ray Charles said.

What do you do with 60 avocados at one time? Are you freezing them?

Nawl, in fridge. Make guacamole and use 'em in wraps. Usually do two wraps a day, but I slowed down because I need to lose weight.

I'll probably give some to my sister.

The whole idea is to buy bulk and save money. Fuck the middle man, LLNH.

I've started shifting over to publix primarily. You don't ring up your own shit there. Better quality fresh items. Bomb ass fried chicken.

Tired of the horrible shopping experience. Beggars, items ring up more than the aisle price, gotta look over your shoulder loading groceries. I'll pay a bit extra for a better experience now.

I'm not ready to be a regular at Whole Foods or Sprouts yet but getting there.

Yeah man I stopped shopping at the grocery store years ago...I literally would feel like throwing up because of the smell of like dead meat or something in most....

Whole Foods is ok, but if you can find a local/mom and pop like store which Sprouts sounds like one I would aim for them...

I am in Columbia for a few days and they have a spot called Earth Fare....Not alot of people and has everything as Whole Foods.....Love it...

In DC I hit up a spot called Moms that is similiar to Earth Fare.....

Sprouts more expensive than Whole Foods! They got some exclusive brands though.

I need to hit DeKalb Farmers Market but it's hard to go all the way out there just for me. Maybe I'll make a run with a female friend and make it worthwhile.

Walmart definitely has the lowest price generally but you pay for it in lack of service, etc. I posted an article that brought up the point that Walmart is having record profits yet nobody's ever around to help you in automotive. They purposely understaff!

I will say this about WALMART.

They have PF Chang frozen entrees. Lowest price around.

I recommend the Honey Chicken. I threw that in a wok sauteed in olive oil with my own spinach, squash, cucumber, green and red peppers, celery etc...put that over some rice and boom. 30 dollar meal at the restaurant for 7.50.

That shit is crazy when you not used to it...

I was in Oakland at that Walmart on edgebrook and hegenberger buying some essentials because I was there on business for a week and my bag was delayed...

I put everything on the counter paid for it, then me and the cashier kinda looked at each other... I'm like "you gonna bag this...?" And she said "nigga is you gone pay for a bag??" I was like "fuck no!" And without missing a beat she says "oh you got a accent you not from here so you must not know..." then she ran down the prices... I just shook my head walking out with a handful of shit... dude outside laughing at me because he was selling bags for half of what they were selling them in the store...

I like those PF Chang meals, they skimp on the meat though.
