Yeah man, this episode touched on SO MUCH shit! It's almost like they fit an entire season worth of stories into one episode. Gonna definitely be interesting to see where this goes the rest of the season. And Ian lost ALL OF HIS SHIT this episode!

No doubt.

I think Ian is going to get even worse before the season is over.

Its like a first real love sort of thing. He was her first love and the first one to accept and truly know her and the crazy that is the Gallagers.

Jimmy May or may not come back. I am more interested in what the hidden demons her husband has.

Yeah that shit was pretty serious.

I don't think Jimmy is coming back as a regular though.

In the opening credits he was listed as "special guest star". That doesn't mean anything but I don't think he's back permanently, at least not with Fiona. They've already explored all the aspects of that relationship so there's nowhere else for it to go.

I am tired of her boss being a bitch. Duke comments on everything I can't wait for her to finally let dude have it. He didn't want her when she offered herself buy now is salty and feels a certain type of way about the dudes she fucks with.

Ian has completely slipped but he's getting ready to be The Joker on Gotham. so if he's not on Shameless every week he'll be on Gotham.

Fiona's husband has some shit that's gonna come out sooner or later but even though Jimmy/ Steve isn't gonna be a regular, him & Fiona are 2 fuck ups that deserve each other.

A couple thoughts,

Yes, Lip will be pushed aside, but it will not affect the internship. His Girl's dad is a self made millionaire. He'll probably hire Lip just to piss off his selfish spoiled daughter. It will also add more tension to the show

Fiona's boss fucked up by not firing her once she started drinking again (wasn't sobriety part of her working conditions?), not to mention punching a customer in the face. Other than that he is one of the only characters with a firm grip on his priorities and an amazing amount of self control.

The relationship that Jimmy/Steve and Fiona have is special. They have a connection in that they're both flawed and fucked up and accept each other unconditionally.

They can be themselves around each other. Certain people have emotional attachments like that. It's not for you to evaluate and determine what they see in each other.
