Stuart Scott (1965-2015)

Re: RIP:Stuart Scott dies at age of 49

Wait

His coworkers already speaking on him being dead?????

I'm lost

I need live footage , not this Espn special.

Naw fam....

 he's dead, no longer on this earth living. All the ESPN shows are live, they was just taking time to remember Stuart, now they are back to talking playoff football.

I'm watching sportscenter on Espn 2

And I saw old footage of coworkers crying in this little Stuart Scott special

Don't talk about me dying until I fucking die

If I die then I die

So ima assume Espn and NBA got footage of people crying and talking about Magic johnson when he dies???

"harder than the Wu-Tang Clan on steroids"

I'll never forget them lines he used to come up with when he first started as anchor on ESPN.

RIP Stu.

I remember when he debuted on sportscenter as well. He made it must watch television for a lot of us.

Stu did a ton for sports journalism, black sports journalism, pop culture, black culture, and young black aspiring journalist every year.

He was truly a ground breaking legend.

Im actually shocked he made it this long after that ESPY ceremony. He didnt look well there. Lasting and fighting as long as he did is a testament to his strength.

Rest In Peace brother.

Met him in Chicago

He told me to never stop believing in my dreams.

A very very good brother

He puts all those other pieces of shit to shame who are Espn and don't deserve it.

This shit is unreal man...the finals won't be the same.

Whole time tho

This brother was a bgol lurker.

He took plenty of shit we all of said and flipped them to be tv friendly on Espn.

When I heard him say he gon cry in the car around the time WE BGOL was saying it, warmed my heart.

We need more black people like Stuart Scott, but God calls them home.

OBAMA better say something

RIP.

Hated all of the hip-hop innuendos in his delivery but I respect the good fight he waged to the bitter end.

RIP It is a fucked up world when you have men like Stuart Scott die young and we still have to deal with Dick Cheney.

R.I.P. He was a trendsetter and ESPN should build a statue of him at their corporate offices because he made sportcenter what it is today.

I was so hoping this Brother would win his fight.

God's blessings be upon his legacy and upon his family and loved ones.

R.I.P. Brother.

He was an original and one of a kind shaddy. His contribution to journalism (not just sports journalism either) and broadcasting can not be overstated.

Just woke up and heard about this, one of the greatest to ever do it. R. I. P. Bruh you will be missed

:smh::smh::smh: Truly sad day. R.I.P. to one of the pioneers of sports broadcasting. No one, I mean no one, was dropping hip hop slang or lyrics before Stuart Scott. He called the Cleveland Indians, A Tribe Called Quest. He made other people bite his style! R.I.P. to one of the most influential anchors in sports.
