What's interesting is that most of the people who are doubting this Batman movie are the same people who were doubting The Joker movie.

The Joker was boring. That shit was nothing more than a CAC incel fantasy film and slight remake of The King of Comedy.

The new Batman film looks like retread of shit we've seen before.

I'd rather watch Batfleck than Twilight Batman.

Boring?? There has NEVER been a comic based movie like this.

Regarding Joker, were you expecting an action packed movie like Avengers or something??

Movies are different. And you are entitled to your opinion. I assume you didn't like Logan either.

Nonetheless, The Batman and Black Adam will be the two biggest films of the year.

It wasn't a comic book movie. It was a psychological thriller that starred a comic book character.

I wasn't expecting to be bored. I just didn't find it entertaining. We didn't need this film. Telling a film about the Joker's backstory takes away from the character.

Like I said, it was the type of film made for and by incel CACs to feel better about themselves.

I thought Logan was great, because, although it deviated a lot from Old Man Logan, it still felt like a comic book movie and wasn't trying to take itself too seriously.
Nonetheless, The Batman and Black Adam will be the two biggest films of the year.
I really don't care how big Batman will be.

I honestly don't see either being bigger than Dr. Strange 2.

Yeah I'm sure we've all seen Batman in a car chase with penguin,Batman in an armored suit walking through a hallway hail of machine gun fire, a bomb threat at a funeral ,and Batman beating up a gang of juggalonstrrdt punks yeah we've seen those things before in previous Batman films (sarcasm) just like we've seen the same things in all marvel movies with the abc 3 act structure where the villian has the same shit and powers as the hero. The villian is usually the heros dad the final
act is always a big CGI battle royal clusterfuck.

Y'all keep mentioning your issues with Marvel films in your defense of Batman.

The discussion is about the new Batman film.

Focus on that.

New movie was dope. It did it feel long and I walked in ready to doubt Robert. He instantly was believable and Zoe did her thing too. Riddler actually came off as a real threat as well.
Are you or real? This movie doesn't thit the theatres until March 12 and we're in the middle of February.

End credit scene, yes or no? Don't want to waste my time waiting around if there isn't one.

I'm still not excited for this movie AT ALL.
Pattinson still does not represent Batman/Bruce Wayne to me in any way.
I'm sorry but ever since those wack ass "Twilight" movies came out; all I can ever see him as is being a emo, sparkly, teenage vampire who's pussy whipped over some introverted chick.

I mean seriously, which version of this character looks like he can actually kick your ass and puts fear into the hearts of criminals...?

The batman is an elseworlds story that takes place outside the dceu it's not the same Batman. This Batman is a younger more inexperienced Batman. In this movie he's in his second year as Batman.

Seriously.
No offense dude, but you can completely miss me with that " younger more inexperienced Batman" stance.
It's been done before (masterfully) and realistically by Chris Nolan in Batman Begins back in 2005 with Christian Bale as a far more believeable Bruce Wayne/Batman.

And remember, this was Batman Year One... :dunno:

Acouple of guys here have been to early screenings and had nothing but good things to say about it but obviously you're the top authority on it although you haven't even seen it yet. you know all sure whatever you say pal. I'm not knocking them but Nolan's films had a more James. Ind approach licious fox was practically "Q" then there was that horrible post production raspy lispy Batman voice. This new Batman will have more of a detective feel which is what Batman is supposed to be. Nolan's Batman was begining reeves Batman is figuring himself out and which approach he should take with his crime fighting methods etc. It should be interesting to see a Batman who's isn't a pro yet unlike most super hero films where after an origin crawl they are automatically perfect.

Umm, OK.
Where do I start?
#1. I have NEVER claimed to be "the top authority" on anything in or about this film. So, I'm really not sure why you'd accuse me of that.
#2. The Chris Nolan films weren't perfect. Many, many people take issues with some aspects of his cinematic take on Batman and Gotham City.
#3. The Nolan films DID highlight his detective skills. But they also expanded upon his network of allies and how they aid him in his war on crime.
#4. The Nolan films also focused on Bruce "figuring out" how he should take on crime. Which he did with the help of Alfred, Lucius Fox, Jim Gordon, John Blake (Robin) Selena Kyle and even Harvey Dent.
#5. The Batman in "Batman Begins & The Dark Knight" WAS NOT a pro nor was he perfect. He very clearly made costly mistakes which cost him and others... dearly.
#6. That raspy, lispy voice Bale used also influenced the voice modulator that Ben Affleck used in the Snyder universe version of Batman as well.

In conclusion.
If you or any one else are excited about the film,
- GREAT!!!! I hope it's all that you want it to be and more.
But as for me, I'm merely stating why I am not excited for this film.

Of course, I could always be wrong and end up loving this film and this version of the character... :dunno:
