Can ur eating windows be alternated every day or you have to be consistent with a pattern??

Like Mon-Thurs I can do a 6 hr window 12-6pm. But I'll like to extend to maybe 2-10pm on wknds

Also does it matter how big or small ur eating window is?? I'm currently on 6 hrs

18 hours to get into ketosis
So 18 hours should be the minimum

I'm doing an 20/4 fast atm. Only eating 2 low carb (high healthy fat) meals. Pretty doable for me. First 2-3 days were hard. But your body will adjust quickly.
Just make sure to stay hydrated; Water, Green Tea and black coffee are your best friends.
Lost 60 lbs before starting with IF. Hoping to lose the last 10-15 lbs while doing IF.

How did IF end up working for you?

Soms tips:
- 2 teaspoons Apple Ciding Vinegar everyday, can help a lot during your weight loss journey.

Anything else to that, like morning vs night or full stomach vs empty?

About to break a 20 hour fast. Worked out this morning, Deadlifts, Hack Squats, Romanian Deadlifts and Hang Cleans, with Sprint intervals and pull-ups after the weights. Im weighed in at 238 this morning but building lean mass.

Drink water with Himalayan salt.
Will help curb hunger.

If you're busy and not thinking about food or your next meal, you may not realize you have to eat after a certain point.

Use apps like Zero or Life to help you and encourage you to go on. Reddit stories like the ones I posted helps as well.

I'd also say don't rush into long fasting hours.
Generally start with 16:8 then after your comfortable, staying under calories, move to 18:6 then so on to 20:4 and 22:2 then as I do 23:1 or even an occasional 48 or 72 hrs fast.

Just gradually grow your fasting window. Most importantly watch your calories and sugary foods/juices. They will make you hungry as well.

Also you have to utilize the 6 - 8 hours you are sleeping in your fast regimen. It helps to fight the hunger

I drink ACV in the morning (empty stomach) and before my last meal. 1 tsp acv with water.
In the last 12 months i lost 35-40 pounds (with Keto/IF).

Intermittent fasting isn't a miracle solution to perfect health and weight loss. But it does help if you do it right.

BTW I turned to a plant based diet a month ago. Right now i'm eating a high carb low fat diet instead of a low carb high fat diet. I work out 4 times a week, so i need the carbs. Keto really helps, but it's good for short term weight loss. It isn't sustainable long term imo.

Now i'm only eating complex carbs like quinoa, sweet potatoes, fruits. brown rice, legumes, oats etc etc. Basically all healthy foods you can't eat on keto.

Lol I went from <50gr carbs a day to 200gr carbs a day. But i'm feeling much more satiated right now. And i'm eating much more healthier.

Only need to lose 10 pounds... Let's go.... :yes:

I do a 36 hour fast every Monday evening starting at 7pm, i break my fast Wednesday at 7. The mental clarity and focus is crazy when I wakeup Wednesday, plus it clense my body from my cheat meals on Sundays and Mondays
