Yea, obviously I didn't know the extent of these saviors however even i knew that it wasn't gonna go down like that. Something that organized they weren't just at that 1 place and that was it.

Rick and Sasha looked absolutely terrified. Great acting on their parts.

So who did Negan chose. Well right away we know it wasn't Rick or Carl because right before Negan starts to swing he tells them if anybody moves cut out the boys eye and feed it to his farther.
Not sure he'd kill somebody like Abraham because of his size and strength I'd think Negan would value him as a soldier in his army. Michonne falls under the same category.
Looks like Maggie and Darryl are knocking on deaths door so why kill them.
Aaron and Eugene look weak so why bother.
Rosita and Sasha are way too attractive for him to kill he's going to want them for his harem.
I'm thinking he's going for the most dramatic kill he could get. That would be Glenn. He was the most emotional and it would have a crushing affect on the rest of Rick's crew.
That's my theory at least.

If Rick hadn't gone on the offensive the saviors would have come for him anyway.
If Rick hadn't even met the Hilltop camp the saviors would have come for him anyway.
If Rick hand't killed a single savior they still would have killed at least one of his men. That's just their calling card.

If they were going for fear and dominance then killing a pregnant woman in front of her husband is the way to go. Maggie may be near death's door, but she and the baby could still be saved with medical care. We know the saviors have access to that.
That being said, Negan said he was going to punish the group for killing so many of his people. Of all the captured people Darryl has killed the most Saviors. My money's on him getting whacked.

The raid on their weapon's locker wasn't intended to wipe them all out. It was a rescue mission carried out in exchange for food. Without it they might have starved to death long before Negan's men got anywhere close to their turf. Yes, Rick could have just stole the Hilltop's food, but what would happen if his camp got hungry again?
Speaking of which, why didn't the Hilltop people just poison the food they were giving to the Savior? There whole army would have been wiped out in days.
How is that community with women and children going to stop Negan, the wolves proved the walls were not going to stop outsiders from getting in. They have a weak squad outside of Maybe 12 people. Negan has about 50 people at least with what look like Monster truck. The would demolished there community, and killed everyone inside if they wanted too. You got to bring that to them sitting and waiting is not a solution.

They'll probably end up killing Aaron or Eugene off, you end the season with a major death you don't begin a season with one. If it is a major death to start the season they probably won't even show that person dead, will just show the others gathered arpund looking at them and then when RICK get ready to kill Neagan later on they'll show a flashback of him doing it

But is Maggie showing that she's pregnant? As far as Negan's concerned she just looked very sick but there weren't any definitive signs that she was pregnant.
