People who were nice are now realizing they're the villain and they let go of that holier than thou bullshit in 2 seasons.

right now fear is the much better show.

i used to watch this with my attention undivided. now i multi-task when i watch this. i can't multi-task with really good shows because i have to pay attention. someone mentioned west world. there is no way to multi-task with westworld, the expanse, game of thrones, atlanta, black-ish, etc.

this show has fallen off tremendously. i used to watch the talking dead too. i don't even watch anymore. they don't have shit to talk about. i bet when carl died that the talking dead was ridiculously stupid.

they really need some new direction or its just time to end this. i need to check out their ratings.

Fear is good because it didn't have to live up to the fucking comic and could do what it wanted. We didn't and don't know who is safe in that show.

Characters in fear are hardcore. I couldn't stand some at first, but they evolved. Meanwhile, the characters in TWD devolved. I really think trying to do too much comic shit fucked up that show. This Negan arc is too fucking drawn out.

I will give you this, fear has gotten a lot better. Only thing really holding fear back is that there is no one likable enough to root for. And the zombies on fear are waaay harder to kill. More realistic in that aspect.

And I know it's because alot of people were complaining about it being to hopeless and grim.

Negan feels out of place to everyone because you want him to be the bad guy opposite of RICK SO bad. But he is not a bad guy. Nothing like the governor or terminus people.

The darkness of the show is why i’ve liked it for so long. The zombies have taken over so of course things are gonna seem hopeless and grim, the show USED to be good at making you feel those emotional moments but they fucked up Carls death so bad that it was more annoying than anything. Also These new characters like the TRASH PEOPLE and King Ezekiel and his midevial acting group ruined the show because they are just to unbelievable..smh

I hate to be the “comic book guy” cuz I see how annoying that is in the infinity war thread but that’s where the show has been lacking for me...what you just mentioned about rick is spot on but the show doesn’t do a great job of conveying it...I’m not saying they should beat viewers over the head w/ the idea...it should be nuanced but the show is structured too much like typical TV shows for viewers who “need” to have the typical “good guy” protagonist

What I like about Fear is that that blonde chick is clearly the villain. She runs into folks that are supposed to be villains and then fucks them all up. Rick would have been dead fucking with her. She the type play to be Negan's wife and slit his throat.

It's like TWD is pussy footing around. Rick isn't really a good guy. He is also not a great leader(in the show). Negan is like Sadam. He is bad, but not as bad as some of the people he keeps in line.

First season was characters doing stupid shit and they were just annoying -- especially Madison. They quickly adapted to the end of the world though. I like it because you really don't know who will live or die and it seems like they are the villains. They come to your camp, and it's a wrap.

The first season of FTWD was a hard watch. As someone said earlier, none of the characters were likable. Especially the husband and his dumb ass son Chris. And how could I forget the dumbass daughter. Now, the writing is to notch. And while I still don't care for the characters, I'll watch just based on the strength of the plot alone.

Season 1 of TWD had to be my favorite. Other than T-dogg, there was a true fear and grittiness feel to that first season. Probably due to Frank Darabount (does those Stephen King movie adaptations).

Nah, you are assuming all the Walkers from that quarry would all go to Alexandria at the same time. Alexandria didn't seem to be attracting all the Walkers in the state there this whole time, so why would they converge on Alexandria afterwards? Instead of killing one random Walker a day, they would kill 4.
