The writing on this show is all over the place. The character arcs are some straight bullshit. You spend what 3-4 seasons setting up the Saviors as this ruthless, merciless kill-squad who can't be reasoned with and THIS is the resolution?
AMC shoulda pulled the plug on ole boy who was running the show a long time ago. It's time for a new show runner. This had to be the weakest resolution to a promising story arc I've seen in a long time.

Didn't Negan die in the graphic novels and Carl lived?
No . It pretty much happened in the comic just like it did on the show.
But yes in the comic Carl is still alive.
Yall dont have to worry, the Negan war is over. If their next threat is like the comics, then it is going to be insane.
If that's the case then sticking too close to the source material is where they're fucking up. This wasn't a filmic ending at all considering the time they invested in building up to this moment.

He didn't test any of the bullets. 
Jesus being involved in any plot to kill Neagan makes zero sense. He has been begging people not to kill the whole time. Now all of a sudden he feels that killing is the answer?
Maggie and Daryl ain't about to do shit. They won't kill Neagan nor will they hurt Rick and Michonne. That story line will be drawn out with a shitty resolution just like all the others.

I'm just going strictly off the finished product and the finished product didn't work.
I don't know much at all about the source material and have purposely avoided it since the show premiered.
Seeing as how she's supposedly preggers, I find that hard to believe.
