My only gripe with the game other than the difficulty at times while getting outnumbered is the skill tree. After you purchase a skill it can only be used after you activate it. So you may purchase skills and won't be able to use them because you only have a few available slots to activate them in depending on your rank.

BTW there's a brothel in Novagard. You have to speak to the Madame for access to the girls.

The Wraiths are some of the most frustrating enemies in the game. I've been upgrading the magic trap recently. Saw a Chris Smoove video last week where his trap was damaging enemies. The mind control comes in handy also. Nothing fucks with the shield. That shield saves lives and controllers.

How to reset your ability points

Potion of Clearance

The first vendor that sells the Potion of Clearance is Keira Metz. After finishing the Magic Lamp quest, you’ll start another – An Invitation From Keira Metz. Go to Keira’s hut north-east of Midcopse, and ask her to trade. You’ll see the potion in her inventory. It costs 1000 Crowns, and lets you redistribute your ability points.

Later on, you can buy it in Novigrad. There is a plaza north-east of Hierarch Square. When you get there, go to the building on the west side. The merchant that occupies it will sell you the Potion of Clearance, for the same price as Keira – 1000 Crowns. You’ll need to talk to him about certain artifacts first – only then will you have the option to trade with him. After you’ve bought it, it will show up in the merchant’s inventory again, after 24 hours.

I just reset mine this morning. I was watching a Chris Smoove video and the alternate shield he was using game him back health with each attack it took. Did some reserch on the alternate signs and there the best to spend shill points on.

His stock replenishes ever 5 days. So do the meditation 5 times and his stock will replenish along with the repair kits. That's how i stacked up on repair kits. Works for every vender.

For those that use the money exploit. After the recent update, the merchant only carries 8 sea shells instead of 16 previously. You can still make money without using the exploit. Selling your lower ranked items. Pickup every weapon that enemies drop and sell them to a vendor with a lot of coin to get the best deal. Also there's a merchant in Novagrad that will transfer your florin & orin into coin currency. I got another $1000 coin by doing that.

Ive only meditated to do quests during the day to take advantage of the Sun and stars joint. It works... Just not quiet as great as I thought it would be. But hey, beats using up my shit.

Yeah that shield has save my life a few times giving me back lost health. Gonna max out the fire stream next. I have it at lvl 2 alternate. Haven't used any points on telekinesis. May use that map I posted to find some sources of power. But gotta have open slots in the tree for it.

The health regen skill is kinda a waste since you can meditate for 15 minutes to get all your health back. Like i've said on the last page, spend your skill points on your quick & strong attacks along with your signs. I think you have to upgrade 4 signs to unlock the alternate signs. So upgrade all the signs skills to lvl 1 to open up the alternate signs ASAP. You need to upgrade mind control for dialogue conversations.

Another tip I just came across i'll share is that you can harvest bee hives and see them to merchants, herbalists. Hit them with fire or telekinetic blast to knock them down them loot it.

The Witcher 3 DLC

There are 16 pieces of free DLC planned for The Witcher 3, plus two big paid expansions further down the line.

So far four bits of DLC - two batches of two - have been released, with a third batch coming later this week. We'll update this article each week with news of what's to come.

Coming later this week is a Nilfgaardian armour set for hero Geralt, and an Elite Crossbow pack. You can buy the Nilfgaardian armour and one of the crossbows - a Nilfgaardian crossbow - from the Baron's Quartermaster in No Man's Land, according to GameSpot, which has had early access to the content.

The Skellige crossbow can apparently be bought from the Skellige Kaer Trolde Castle Blacksmith and the Elven crossbow from the Novigrad Fancy Shop Owner.

I went back to White Orchard to get that dlc armor yesterday. It was funny how by I slaughtered those lvl 4 & 5 enemies. Every human I ran into got decapitated or cut in half.
