is there a vid of this?:lol:

:lol::lol::lol:

I appreciate hogan and vince bringing wrestling to the mainstream, but hogan has done so much damage that he needs to be held accountable for shit now. It's funny how tna became watchable again when hogan stopped showing up. That SummerSlam check for 450k he wiped his ass with and said "it's a nice payday for my limo driver", i bet looks pretty good right about now.

Sad thing is that Vince didn't learn and brought Hogan back so that Randy Orton could job to him at SummerSlam.

He's been nothing more than a figurehead with the stroke to bring in his old ass friends since he's been in TNA. Hopefully they can go in a new direction soon without him. The company hasn't improved with him. Even the PPV quality has gone down since he became involved.

Fortunately all of his old friends are gone and he's on tv a lot less. As more TNA fans see and hear this more of them seem to come back. The rating for last week was the first time they broke 1.0 in a while and with the ECW angle airing tonight, it should be even higher.

Dave Meltzer said their ppv's have been averaging under 10,000 buys. Since their not making money on ppv's they need to scrap them and just have specials once a month.

Shit, I was hoping they would've made Saturday Night Main Event more like the ppv's when they started airing the show again, but alas...

Vince and that PG mentality of his, watered the show down and it was total crap!:smh::smh::smh:

I believe that they currently have deals signed that ensure monthly ppvs. Maybe once they expire they can begin doing special events reminiscent of the old Clash of the Champions. I personally preferred PPVs every 3 or 4 months because it allowed storylines and rivalries to build up to a level of significance and to the point that warranted a conclusion.

That was the best TNA shows since the Hogan takeover! No Hogan... No Bischoff...great matches... great ending!:yes::yes:

More shows like this and they could think about going back to Monday nights!:D:cool::cool:

They even had good face time with sexy ass Lacey Von Erich not wrestling and looking smoking hot!! Perfect!:cool::cool:

I heard Sean Micheals purposefully oversold Hogan's offense to make fun of him. He wanted the match to look goofy so that the Hogan victory would be a meaningless spectacle.

The cable companies want them to do monthly ppvs and it's another revenue stream for the company but the talk of them doing ppv-level specials has been the buzz lately. I'm sure SpikeTV wouldn't mind them at all.

Those just weren't good, were they? They might have a nice little moment here or there but for the most part, they were drab.

I personally preferred PPVs every 3 or 4 months because it allowed storylines and rivalries to build up to a level of significance and to the point that warranted a conclusion.

Most people prefer the original ppv schedule of 3 or 4 a year (ECW started off like that too) but the payoffs from the ppvs comes months later so they do them end up having to do them monthly.

i read awhile back that there was gonna be a Best of Clash of Champions dvd.

I hadn't hear that but that would be great. Once WCW had a live Nitro and a live Thunder show, the Clash became outdated but they used to have some good stuff on the Clashes. Some sucked ass but most had at least one or two good to great matches or angles.

Just like Mr. Perfect. His over selling use to trip me out.

Perfect was the only guy who bounced in the air from a turnbuckle shot. He used to bounce around like he was part Super Ball. Cocaine is a powerful drug.

TNA was good last night the ending i thought was a little dumb. If it wasn't for velevet and lacey looking the way they did i would've turned that mess off quick, how helms let velvet get away i will never understand. Victoria looks like gazoo with that helmet on and madison playing off the what chants was kinda funny. Abyss suck in my opinion and i will always see him as a man/kane ripoff.

Abyss was ok as a monster but they had to mess it up with Hogan and the "magic ring" bs. They did that angle with Dave "Evad" Sullivan back in 94. Now Abyss is a joke to me.

Abyss was created as a cross between Mankind & Kane, so it's not really any illusion for that. I liked him back in the day when he was just a monster. That best of TNA Brawls Vol.1 DVD is pretty good showcase of how Abyss should always be used (and a pretty good buy if you want a collection of really good hardcore matches).

You're right on about Velvet Sky. After Angelina (the has the best ass in TNA. Perfect bubble, with a TINY waist. Sky has more jiggle, but Sky has more of a bubble and a smaller waist), she is the best looking chick in TNA in my opinion. The ORIGINAL beautiful people were always worth taking a look at in my opinion.

BTW, this might come as a shock to some, but that Knocked Out DVD that TNA released a while ago I'd highly recommend. The TNA women's division use to be worth keeping track of. I hope it gets back to that standard. Back then, they use to make what you saw on WWE look embarrassing in comparison. Nowadays, they're about equal with each other in terms of wrestling.

Yep. I think they left him as a face too long and then sticking him with Hogan and making him Dave Sullivan 2.0 was a HUGE mistake. If the payoff could be Hogan putting over Abyss at Bound For Glory, I could live with it but Hogan can't take a bump anymore.
That TNA disc is almost an Abyss highlight reel.

I don't usually watch any show live. I dvr it and watch it later to skip commercials and Bella twin matches. But when I saw Velvet Sky come out last night, I watched the whole thing. She looked incredible. Hell, she was even a better actor than Madison Rayne (who TNA is pushing way too hard considering she's not very good in the ring).
Good analysis on the difference between Angelina and Velvet's asses. I see you put some thought into it:D.

All true. Hell, the cover with Karen Angle is almost reason enough to get it.
Bringing back Tara is a good move and Kong is still on good terms with them so she could be back whenever she wants. If TNA wants to go back to when the Knockouts were great, they'd bring back Alissa Flash and push down Madison. Right now the only good workers they have are Angelina and Daffney (so underrated, it's a crime). Hamada and Sarita are there but only one of them has been on tv at all in recent weeks. I hate we never got Kong-Sarita or Kong-Hamada matches.
It wasn't just that they were usually better wrestlers than the Divas but they all had different personalities and gimmicks. Instead of hiring a bunch of models and cheerleaders and all of them having the same training, experience, and often, look, TNA brought in women wrestlers who want to be wrestlers and not try to segue into a more lucrative modeling career or a reality show.

He did. It's not like they got old, he just took them out of the ring or jobbed them out to less experienced, less capable lingerie models.
You forgot Jazz. Jazz was a rough, stiff bitch that made Trish improve.

To me, Jazz will always be the first true thug female in wrestling! Mama could wrestle you straight up or beat your ass like she just came out the hood! Really miss her skills in the ring!

WWE did right by her at first but then they went away from her. She made Trish legit. Before that, she was okay at best.

Speaking of the women, Sarita and Taylor did their thing last night. Taylor's decent but she's tough as fuck. Take this brawl and combine that with the Monster's Ball matches with Daffney last year and she's seems to be better at hardcore spots than being a white meat babyface.

Knowing a good ass when I see it what made me the man I am today.

But on the real, Velvet Sky & Angelina are dimes. Angelina is actually a really good wrestler too, but she's a MUCH better heel than she's a face (and her recent face run clearly shows)

Right now the only good female wrestlers currently employed in TNA are the ones you mentioned.

That is completely spot on. The diversity mixed with the fact that they could all wrestle was the charm of the TNA Knockout division back in the day.

For the TNA women's division to be great again, they need to do another raid of Shimmer, and if possibly bring Sara Del Rey over (For now, I appreciate the fact that I can enjoy Sara Del Rey in Chikara and Ring of Honor).

Speaking of which, Shimmer is another indy fed I forgot to mention for some reason. That's one I also follow. GREAT promotion with GREAT action (I never thought an American women's wrestling promotion would be so great, but Shimmer has never let me down with any of their shows).

And yo, am I the only one that wouldn't mind Sara Del Rey wrapping me in her massive thighs? Great wrestler (and heel), but I'm just saying...she is built for punishment. :D

From the neck down angelina is hot, and velvet went from looking like white trash (2005) to looking like a dime. That was some of the worst acting i've ever seen last night when those broads were in the ring, but i have a soft spot for lacey because she plays the ditsy blonde perfectly. The problem with being a face male or female is that you're extremely limited in what you can do. If you can't be a heel it's better to be a tweener.

:yes: I don't know why they haven't put her back in the forefront of the Beautiful People. With her big fake boobs and overly made up face and her natural sneer, she's a great heel. TNA's missing the boat on this one.

I've never seen Sara but I've heard great things about her. She's never been on one of the ROH dvds I've bought.
I agree with them raiding SHIMMER. They were going to need new KOs anyway and I'd prefer them bring in those ladies than recent grads from 3-D's wrestling school. Send Rosey Lottalove to SHIMMER to learn how to work and bring in Sara or Ms. Chif, who I saw wrestle Kong last year for NWA Charlotte (a great indy that died too soon) and they stole the show.

If they're going to leave her with the BP, that's what she should do, not wrestle. If she has to wrestle, keep her in tags and very short matches where gets in the one move she knows (that flip) and does the job.
