They need to realize the X-Division is the Money Maker.

Thats the best thing about TNA, and that goes the same for WCW during the Nitro era. The first hour of Nitro would start off with cruiserweight matches 1 on 1 or a 6 man tag. You have to give the fans something that there not used to seeing.

The WWE could bring back their cruiserweight division with Evan Bourne, Low Ki, & Justin Gabriel and a couple of indy/ ROH guys.

They could but smaller guys don't give Vince a woody like big roid freaks, so screw 'em.

Just watched Rise and Fall of WCW........that was an EXCELLENT video.

I was LOL@ Vince Russo telling Jarrett to lay down and let Hogan win.

Then this happened...

http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x1exnn_vince-russo-shoots-on-hogan-part-22_sport

Hogan was PISSED. That was the night Booker T won the title for the first time.

And now, Hogan, Jeff Jarrett and Vince Russo are all working together in TNA!:D

I tell ya, you have to have a heart made of Teflon to work in the wrestling business... cause I couldn't work with a mother fucker that dissed my ass in public like that!:smh::smh::smh:

Great shit from Russo, keeping it too real!!:yes::yes:

Russo has good qualities (he tries to get as many of the boys paid for each show, he tries to come up with something for everybody) but he doesn't recognize his own weaknesses and ends up playing to his weaknesses (repeating stories and gimmicks, screwy finishes) to the point of dilution.

I'll only buy the WCW dvd either used or on deep discount and I'll never watch the documentary part. Not supporting or even listening to the McMahon revisionism.

Wrestling's funny like that. Jeff Jarrett fucked and is engaged to Kurt Angle's ex but Kurt would rather work in TNA than work for Vince.
How many times did Vince bring back the Ultimate Warrior and was trying to induct him into the Hall of Fame this year before Warrior fucked him again.
Funny business. The behind the scenes stuff is more fun than the in-ring stuff. That's why I end up buying damn near everybody's books.

Match-wise, that WCW DVD is really good. Def recommend buying it for the matches in DVD quality:yes: If the documentary portion bothers you (it actually wasn't a complete hatchet job, unlike say...the Monday Night Wars DVD. But it's also not perfect like the Rise and Fall of ECW DVD), it's only 1 disc of 3. So you still have 2 quality discs to enjoy.

It's definitely on the list to get but it's got to be for the right price. I've seen the match listing and I can't let that pass me by for too long.

On that note
Just purchased the new TNA dvd featuring the Motor City MachineGuns and Beer Money. Mostly matches with interview clips in between. Great stuff and timed perfectly with the two teams feuding for the tag belts.
Also bought the the Hard Justice ppv dvd from last year (for 7.99). An underrated show with some really good stuff including great in ring storytelling particularly the Kevin Nash-Mick Foley match.

I've bought a few of the TNA DVDs (Samoa Joe, the first X Division DVD, Knockouts DVD, Angle DVD, Hardcore matches DVD) and I've yet to be let down at all by any of them.

I'll look into the Motorcity Machine Guns DVD.

The compilations dvds are usually very good (there is no excuse to put together a bad comp dvd).
The one with the Guns has one questionable match (Sabin putting over a new, very green Brutus Magnus) and several of the multi man matches they've been in. Still a good dvd.

I also bought the ROH "Big Bang" internet ppv dvd. I attended this live but I wanted to see what it looked like on tv. Great, great show.
Skip the lucha match with Blue Demon Jr. It's horrible. The Mexicans in the audience were into it and it had a couple entertaining moments but it's a HUGE letdown after the title match main event.

I bought that Rise and Fall of WCW. I was disappointed in the doc. It was way too short and the skipped over years.

Tommy Dreamer vs. Abyss is the main event for this week's Impact!
Interesting. Should be fun.

And for the fam that goes to indy shows in Connecticut, Mickie James vs. Awesome/Amazing Kong on 10/1 for Northeast Wrestling.

Nothing but great reviews for the DragonGate USA and Chikara shows from the old ECW Arena this past weekend.

that's fucked up.

If you took one sheet of paper, you could write down the names of all black champions on one side. Damn shame.

Let's see........John Cena...who does the same moves everytime. Shoulder block, suplex, five knuckle shuffle, FU.

Shelton Benjamin, who only held the IC title, had numerous moves, and was NEVER given a title shot.

He needs to go to TNA and join the X-division.

Tarver powerslam was dope

Yea they finally letting them Next dudes wrestle. I wonder is that Tarver's finish move? I know they scrapped that punch finish move he had due to it being too similar to Big Show's.

I never understood the hate Cena gets lol. I don't like him but I always rooted for the bad guy.

I liked Shelton. To me he was the best wrestler in the WWE. But ol' boy had no personality. And they gave him that blonde hair? I guess it worked for him but the shit reminded me too much of Sisqo. I don't like that shit. But Shelton was never gonna be anything more than a second tier champion. I'm shocked they even gave him the IC title.

I had a feeling they were gonna start making changes to that lame ass 7 man line-up. You can tell Khali isn't gonna make it to SummerSlam and Jericho is already fed up with John Cena's hero bullshit!:D

I still don't know why Nexus didn't at least try to fuck Khali up when they had him trapped in the ring!

There was some truth to what jericho said, and the look he shot him when cena slapped the mic out of his hand was priceless. My guess is the raw gm revels himself at SS because that laptop BS has gotten old. I did like when cole dropped the "i got two words for ya" line it barely got a reaction. No matter how much the crowd loves orton i still can't get past how much of a dick he was to kofi during their feud, the moment he called kofi stupid 2x on live tv is unforgivable.

I've found Cena boring since his face turn. I thought they turned him just as he getting some momentum as a heel and "Superman" Cena is boring as hell. Being around good heels like Jericho and Batista only makes him look worse. I think they're doing the same thing with Randy Orton. He's gone from an interesting, vicious heel (pre bullshit Legacy)to a silent "Viper. Why would you take the mic from a guy who can talk?
Loved Shelton Benjamin. Phenomenal talent, not the best interview. I thought he had something as "The Gold Standard" even though they stole Butch Reed's blond hair "Natural" gimmick. But he wasn't World champ material. In the ring, he was but not on the mic. He needs to go to TNA, not just so he can work X-Division (or tag with Charlie Haas) but so he can get around Ric Flair, Ken Anderson, and Kurt Angle, guys who are cutting great but different types of promos.

They should make Wade Barrett change his finisher. That front slam from a firemen's carry looks weak as hell. They should keep Tarver & Skip around and use them as a tag team. I still say they could bring back the cruiserweight division with Bourne, Low ki, Gabriel, Loshi, & Tyson Kid, they could use the superstar program to give them some tv time.

A storm knocked out the power just as Evan Bourne got his ass kicked so I missed the end of Raw. Be nice if Cena turned heel at SS like Hogan did.

Barrett's finisher is one of the weakest since Cena started using the FU. I have no idea who comes up with these finishers for these guys. But I guess with powerbombs and piledrivers banned, the range is limited.

Dream on, player. Cena sells t-shirts and caps and WWE isn't giving up that money just yet.
Plus if he did, we'd just have another year of him feuding with the now-face Randy Orton and the returning HHH. Do we really want that?:smh:
