I was like WTF?!?!

Hell yeah, he was acting like he was knocked out for counts 1 through 9, then he hopped up and slid his ass in the ring and went back to being knocked out! WTF? You just got up, why the fuck you laying down again?

It's like he's a superhero and in order to recharge his powers, he has to take a power nap. Then he can get up, do his chain of 5 moves and get a 3-count.

Cena never continually sells the beating he has taken. He gets beatdown , lands a move and then suddenly it's like he just started the match instead of continuing to feel the punishment he has taken.Even the likes of the Undertaker, Shawn Michaels and The Rock were slowed down in the midst of their comebacks but I guess that would count as ring psychology and some logic being injected into the match and that has little to no place in a Cena match

Back then the DDT was considered a devastating move that consistently could finish a mathc and Jake the Snake had the DDT perfected. Now the DDT is slightly above a bodyslam and below a spinebuster that can stun an opponent but can rarely finish somebody off.

I know but Cena and Wade Barrett's fireman carry slams are devastating. What happened to the idea that finishers should look like they would hurt, at least in principle.

When Cena first started doing his finisher it was more of a Death Valley Driver than a weak slam that it is now. Barrett should use that dominator into a ddt that Hernandez uses.

I was worried how WWE would use Daniel Bryan in his first night back by making him do a clean job, but he controlled the momentum for most of the match. Imo WWE will have to use him as a face due to him being undersize ( I mean lack of muscle & bulk ). It was because he took the "Downfall" gig outside WWE auspices but Jericho put over MVP and JTG last year and he definitely brought Bourne up to another level (WWE is failing to capitalize and should have put him in the SS match). They're punishing Brer Rabbit by throwing him in the briar patch.

TNA RELEASES FORMER X-DIVISION CHAMPION

TNA Wrestling has released former X-Division and Tag Team champion Homicide, PWInsider.com has confirmed.
Homicide, a former Ring of Honor champion, had been with TNA since 2005 and at one point, was part of one of the hottest acts in TNA, the LAX group with Konnan and Hernandez.

Homicide had hardly been used since the Bischoff/Hogan regime began, mostly used wrestling for TNA Xplosion bouts. On Impact, he was most recently used in an injury angle to further the Hernandez-Matt Morgan storyline with the idea that TNA would reform LAX down the line. Obviously, that will not come to pass.

Homicide recently relocated back to the Northeast, so I'd expect to see him back working for a lot of his old haunts soon. Homicide was also involved in training a lot of talents from that area, including Kaval of NXT, so I'd assume he's going to get back into training as well.

Ring of Honor champion Tyler Black reported to Tampa, Florida for WWE developmental earlier this week. He was in attendance at all of this week's FCW events and training sessions.
Black will be finishing up with Ring of Honor next month.


Now I'm really interested in seeing his match with Richards on the 28th in Charlotte. A guy who's practically gone against a guy who says he's retiring at the end of the year. Interesting.

I can see that. I couldn't see him pull off a good face like Batista could. There's no reason Tarver and Sheffield couldn't both be Ted Dibiase's bodyguards or some other secondary role like that as they grow.

A source close to the situation has told us that the early word is that Skip Sheffield suffered a broken bone in his leg last night in Hawaii. It's very possible he will need surgery.



With him possibly having to miss time and them kicking out Young, maybe they bring up Husky Harris. He would fit in perfectly and immediately and he's already a better worker than half of them.

Damn Akbar's passing is sad news. I remember him in Mid-South/UWF and his appearances in World Class Championship Wrestling. He was one hell of a heel manager who would incite heat everywhere he went. Devastation Inc. in the early to mid 80's was an awesome heel stable.

Fire Pro Wrestling D is the best wrestling GAME I've ever played. Whereas, No Mercy is the best wrestling SIMULATOR I've ever played, if that makes sense.

Everything else...tight graphics, but lacks in control/feel/roster/etc.

No Mercy is by far the best wrestling game i've ever played and many would agree with me. Aling with that list I would add Here Comes The Pain, WCW/NWO Revenge, and Warzone was ok for it's time. My biggest gripe with SVR games now is the exp points for the caws. I don't remember what the last game was that had unliminted caw points but they need to put it back in, most people don't want to take the time and lvl 10 or more caws up. Alowing us to download used created caws were a great ideal but they had to be lvl up abd you couldn't edit their move set. If they fix the caw problems then im good.
