And I’m surprised penguin didn’t kill dr Julian , he did the most damage to his mother and he knows the truth about what he did

Storytelling wise it was smart to split the character arc between Oz and Sofia
His shit wasn’t tragic in the same way as he flipped his flaws or weaknesses to get a version of what he was always looking for
Her though. That gullibility just did her no favors. She had opportunities. But she blew them all.
Just not ruthless enough to be a match.
As I said - Pattinson and Reeves got their work cut out for em for real now.
They’ve never tried front loading villains in superhero adaptations that I can recall.
And the thing I remember from The Batman most was the time dude spent actually working as a fuckin detective/investigator that seemed pretty different than any of the previous live action adaptations

It was very predictable @ViCiouS was correct
Every single plot point character arc was derivative of a very popular movie series or comic
Which is fine because you could legit say that about any great work.
And DC needed this.
and I like my villains villainous
But all that being said as good as this was? We seen this before.
Let me clear I greatly enjoyed the series and all the work that went into it.
Colin was freaking brilliant and Sofia was awesome. Victor has shown enough to be on the A list moving forward- Marvel needs to snatched him up immediately
Bro i think you misreading the whole series; Oz story was very tragic; he killed his own brothers!!!! Sophie was tragic as well; she wasnt gullible just got did dirty by her pops!!!

it was predictable except for him killing Vic; They should have let Vic become his right hand; still was a good series though; Marvel will snatch all of them up...

I knew he had to die and was going to die.
I was telling folk when Oz caught him dancing with the mother etc it was over for Vic
He was jealous. And for some reason didn't want him to talk about his brothers with the mother
Then in the hospital he DID NOT PUSH AWAY HIS HAND ON HIS SHOULDER.
Knew he was done.
And then when he said F**K tonight after Victor called him family
he was REALLY done
They telegraph well for that.. He was NEVER EVER going to "share" his mother or his success.

It was solid; more in line with the video game Batman. I like how they showed his detective skills. I also like the riddler character
This was a great series. I never really thought of Penguin in the same vein as Joker or Mr Freeze or even Bane as a major villain with true evil intent. I always thought of him as comic relief BUT this Penguin changed all of that. This motherfucker out Jokered the Joker and was calculating as well. Bravo to all of them especially Collin and Sophia actress as well as Vic they were all great

The critics that watched all eight episodes of this series months ago and said the series loses its way in the final two episodes....I definitely don't agree with them. This series has always been on point IMO. This episode delivered gut punches coupled with haunting visuals.

I'm looking forward to a possible great team up in the next Batman movie. Even if the characters just have a couple of scenes together i will be happy.

Oz setting up Sophia to take the fall with the city was a smart move.
Sophia going back to Arkham is a fate worse than death. Interested to see what Selina Kyle has to say to her.
Vic had to go. He knows about Oz’s mother, her whereabouts, and her condition. All can be used against him. Nobody alive (except his fine ass hooker) knows now.
His mother is in a state that she specifically told Oz she didn’t want to be in. That’s a fate worse than death.
Oz paying ol girl to act like his mother is another level of being deranged. He’s psychotic.
At the beginning of the show, he was a gangster with a fragile ego. Now he truly is a deranged monster, and he has power to boot now.
And not one time in the show did they mention Batman. Not even a whisper of his existence, so yes that Bat Signal works in this instance to set the stage for the next movie.
9/10 show. Best show of the year. Emmy’s better be received for acting and cinematography
