Bro I don't understand wtf the previous WB regime was doing. They just seemed lost? The movies are far from as horrible as people say. They are FINE. I still havent seen the Flash myself. Its just that the bar is kinda high now. I'm a sucker for all this stuff so I'm a horrible judge. And Ezra hurt this movie bad...

And honestly while Jimmy Gunn is my man? I'm getting a little nervous. Fingers crossed.

Cause one thing...

If I'm the NEW boss?

No matter WHAT I'm calling the director and telling him they let you do whatever you wanted cool movie is great.

But you HAVE TO do just one thing non negotiatable.

But the f*cking TV Flash is this f*cking movie.

Period.
They usally wait a few months to tease digital release interest.. . Notice they already releasing shit like this......

After seeing how Ezra's controversies tanked this movie, there is no way in hell Kang doesn't get recast.

I wonder how WB gonna spin this?

They were ALL willing to die on that Ezra bandwagon.

putting their reputations out there

Ok not ALL I noticed Keaton, supergirl etc were conveniently absent from the proceedings.

If we see all this placed on Ezra then yeah Kang is f*cked.

I stated in another thread that Warner Bros./James Gunn is setting things up for Disney to acquire the DC property.

Blue Beetle and Aquaman debut later this year, it’s not looking good for those two films with box office revenue.

Looking at what James Gunn is planning…it’s making more sense. James projects debut in 2025. I predict Disney will make its move around 2030 after there next Star Wars films and Predator/Alien films debut.

We will wait and see.

It wasn't just Ezra

it was also the overhype and the fact that James Gunn told us none of this shit matters

Plus it came out right after Spiderverse and Transformers.

Aquaman is going to flop, but Blue Beatle probably won't reach $20 mil.

The Flash Flops at the Box Office

After Ezra Miller’s continued controversy, David Zaslav saying it was the “best superhero movie I’ve ever seen,” and the cancelation of Batgirl because it wasn’t good enough, The Flash may not have been worth the trouble. The newest entry in the DCEU stumbled at the box office on its opening weekend, raking in $55 million Friday through Sunday — in comparison to the $100 million it was projected to make back in April, according to The Hollywood Reporter. “The increasingly disjointed state of DC story lines is as equally to blame as other outside factors, leaving the franchise at a point where lack of consistency prevented the kind of emotional connection with most of its characters that a sprawling universe needs,” box-office analyst Shawn Robbins told THR. It looks like audiences want to run away from the DCEU and quick.
But people behind the movie can console themselves with the fact that The Flash was not the only box-office disappointment of the weekend. Pixar’s Elemental also opened to mediocre box-office returns. The film made $29.6 million on its opening weekend — an all-time low for Pixar when adjusted for inflation, according to THR. Maybe movies in which we give previously unconsidered, inanimate objects emotions that quietly wreak havoc on audience’s hearts just aren’t hitting like they used to.

I saw the movie last night and it was better than I thought. I know John campea has been going on and on about Mushietti(sp) as the director, but that opening scene with babies was absolute BS. The movie is 2 hours and 24 mins..you cut that entire section out, you have a much tighter movie and a much better movie. I was sitting there thinking that there's a lot easier way to get Barry to Gotham if you need to...just didn't make any sense.
Overall, good movie- for the comic book heads - are Barry Allens parents actually Latino, because I'm sitting here looking at the kids and both parents being Latino and Barry has none of that in him.

Really Enjoyed Michael Keaton and if that was him in the suit moving as well as he did, he's in great shape.

I like how they had Iris still being black, i told my son that they could have shown Candice Patton as a small cameo.

Like i said, Good Movie..better than i thought, but the best comic book movie ever? FOH..:smh:

The director going out if his way to erase the WB Flash to me as a permanent black mark on his resume.

Not what I was expecting. A lot of unfunny moments that reminded me of Thor L&T, but this was better. I give it a 6.5 out of 10. I guess the TV show ran through all his villains, it would have been kind of cheesy to have them in this too.

I saw it last night and was entertained. Ezra is this quirky, odd guy. Which, is understandable but not used to him being THAT weird. Almost like he was on the spectrum. That being said, Keaton had a big part in the film and gave it life. The story followed the canon for the most part with the flashpoint arc. Good set up and I enjoyed the cameos. Problem is that DC for some off reason has their signature version of CGI that is basically sped up action sequences to simulate super speed but it was combined with CGI effects that reminded me of matrix 2. It was a little TOO artificial. I’d like to see the series continue but after these numbers I just don’t see it happening. Haven’t seen black Adam yet but if they can’t get the most popular actor in the world to save their universe then they need to stick with their animated projects and Batman. Because it seems that is the only character people come out to see. For some reason, the animation story telling doesn’t transfer to their live action series. Not sure why.

its the weird caste system hollywood has-live action movies look down on TV series and animation
that's why you had movie flash on the CW show but they didn't return the favor.

same thing with marvel how Agents of Shield acknowledged the MCU movies multiple times but the movies never brought up AOS
and lastly the justice league movie refused to follow the DCAU animated universe model
