This is a good thing. Lets see how well those vaccines work

:popcorn::thumbsup: :giggle:

No doubt. The fucked up thing is that most people do not even have the second dose taken yet. They opening up shit without it.

Once again they make this shit so political instead of just providing the true statistics of each element of the pandemic. I would have to Google to locate how many people have taken the first dose and how many have and will exceed the second dose time limit to take it and if they now have to take both again to truly meet the effectiveness percentages.

We all understand what these white folks on. They are about their money and greed. But I don't waste my breath trying to argue it. If you live in Texas, take precaution if you don't have the vaccine or are worried. Otherwise, let them fools do what they do :dunno:

No doubt. It would be best if they can put a dome around Texas and we can all watch the controlled science experiment without the test subject getting out. Definitely curious to see how this plays out.

Unfortunately, most of our people in Mississippi aren't in the greatest health to begin with due to obesity/poor diets. That coupled with the fact that a larger percentage of our people in Mississippi don't have access to good health care means that this could be devastating for a large number of Black Mississippians.
Yeah right.

Texas has been pretty wide open the entire time to be honest. I've continued to go out and live life as normal as possible but I do take precautions (mask, sanitizer, etc) when I do step out.

It'll get bad but it's to be expected... these people here half the time not wearing a mask to begin with.

Miss population is just under 2.8 million. Imagine if 500k black people changed their residency from NY, Cali & Washington St. With that said, is the land and infrastructure good in MS?
Land is great, infrastructure is not. Like most of the rest of the country, unfortunately.

500k black transplants would be so fuego. I was just talking to someone yesterday about how underrated it is that I get to live in a city that's majority my people.

When we get positive traction on our infrastructure and crime shit this place will be really great. Hoping the green rush has some knock on effects that look like that.

It's not the whole state bro, it's a few neighborhoods in Jackson. Some gentrified areas too.

That's like how people talk about Africa like it's a country lol

I didn't mean it as in the entire state.
However any place in america that doesn't have it is a complete total failure and should be addressed first before anything.

People in mississippi shouldn't be going through that.

I don't look down on the south or africa so definitely not speaking on either place from a position of judgment. Just concern.

You've Had One Before....And If You're In Texas You Should Know Texas Is Not a Red State...Its a Non Voting State....Kinda Like Georgia For Example

That was a long time ago before Fox news and conservative media seeped in the minds of the zombies here in Texas. A democrat when Ann was governor is basically "Republican light" today.

this decision will cost so many lives!!!! Republicans SMFH
Oh for sure. There is a picture floating around with a couple of liberals screaming at The governor of Texas Greg Abbott asking him why he's opening up the state

Just last week, these niggas was dying because of 1 inch of snow on the ground.
No power, pipes bursting. Shit is pathetic.
These dumb ass cracker ass crackers. They want so badly to go back to normal that they are risking millions of lives in the process
I pray for you TX niggas daily...

There are 2 issues driving this madness. One, the Republicans who pray that
things under Biden become so bad that they vote in the GOP in the midterms
and beyond. Two, Abbott is trying to fend off the candidacy of Lt Gov Dan
Patrick who will challenge him for the governorship. Dan Patrick is the same
MOFO who famously said that the state economy should be kept open amid
the covid pandemic since it was ok for older people like him, to sacrifice their
lives for the good of the state. Of course when the time came for both Patrick
and Abbott to address the state Republican convention in person, they demurred
citing the risk of acquiring covid. Nevertheless, Abbott is trying to fend off the
attack Patrick, which come from the right.
