November 6 was a rough day but this thread was refreshing in comparison to social media.
While you could tell people were generally disgusted with the results, the tone was more along the lines of "Don't get mad, get to work" along with the general BGOL commentary and comedy.

I don't speak about Blunt much because general common sense tells me that I should hush but discovering that he was a white dude, and an old one at that, has strongly affected how I view people on BGOL, especially when the shit they say sounds like the racist, bullshit I see on social media and especially predominantly white message (because message boards tend to have older crowds).

The Pokemon snap video game made me want to attempt to learn photography to take pics of them.
Yeah, I never played Pokemon, but it was a good excuse for the youth to go outside. As for photography, it does help with being mindful of your surroundings, seeing details that you would have never seen otherwise.

We have been beaten so long that some of us has the Stockholm Syndrome (coons). More of our brothers and sisters have been manipulated into self destruction. The black church is part of the problem too, they teach that it's ok to act like the devil as long as you repent.

Yes I saw the thread. That's an incident where we need to be monolithic. A white woman saying the n word isn't funny in any situation, but for some reason when it's done in the media some people think it is.
In that situation we had Black men on the set not having an issue with it therefore it hurts those who do have an issue with it.
