Outside of music for sure. In music? Seems like Ghostface and Chef get more respect for the music they made. Meth never made a Only Built for Cuban Linx or Ironman. Those are two non disputable classics. Meth is by far more commercial and more easy to sell.

Regarding ODB and which labelto sign with...RZA was right, but he was wrong. He had a point but it was fucked up to make the move like that without running past ODB first. Especially since it was his fam

Yeah he was foul. I don't even think it came from a bad place.....and I think if he had a do over he would probably handle that different. Like ODB said he looked at him like a kid that couldn't make decisions for himself.
While he was right the Elektra deal was better he should've let ODB take that L and sign with Def Jam. It was his dream. Just like he let U God take that L he should've let him do it too.
On another note......between doing Fantasy with Mariah, Ghetto Superstar with Pras and Mya......Shimmy Ya and Got Your Money......could you argue he had bigger hits than anyone else in the Wu? I hear these records in films even in 2021.
Good point. I think the only major solo joint (wu member with a non wu member) I can think of that got as much attention as those is , meth and Mary joint.

Yeah you know I never actually thought about it until the show talked about Electra offering him a deal…..nobody in the Wu had more mainstream hits then ODB…..and even his features I mean he made those records…..it goes to show he was ahead of his time…if he came out today he’d be even bigger.
