Official Samsung S25 phone series. UPDATE: S25 dropping.

mine just arrived but now i have to wait for Google to send me a sim card. I thought i could activate it via eSim.
Yeah that was annoying but luckily I had an old sim laying around. Plus it didn't come with shit...not even a charger or ear buds. Mofos are charging more amd giving us less. Unreal

I got my S22 ultra yesterday in the mail and fellas it feels exactly like my Note 20 ultra. The camera is a little bit better and the processor handles FB better but that's the only differences I'm noticing after 24 hrs of usage.

Guess I’ll keep my Note 10 Plus then, I noticed the last update made my camera better so that’s why I put off ordering the Pixel 6 Pro so I guess now I’ll put off getting the S22 Ultra

I think the S22 Ultra will be my next phone once I can no longer use my blackberry. I like the pretty light blue unlocked one.

UK session, live now.

Did you get the $200 credit?

People still use Blackberry's ??? :eek2:
Just playin, LOL ;)

I prefer a keyboard. I'm switching this week from AT&T to tmobile so I can continue to use it after they shut down their 3G. My phone is 4G and they could support it if they want to, but they are only going to support the AT&T branded keyone blackberry.

"AT&T is not the only carrier that has decided to shut down its 3G network. Verizon also revealed plans to sunset its 3G network at the end of 2022, while T-Mobile will shut down its 3G network on April 1 and 2G network on January 1, 2023"

If you're planning on buying the Galaxy S22 anyway, now might be the time to upgrade
Verizon, AT&T, T-mobile are all having promotional deals that expire this Thursday
If you trade-in an old Samsung phone, damn near any old Samsung, & sign up for one of their unlimited plans.....they will give you $800-$1000 off of the new Galaxy S22 series phones

I don't have an old phone. All my phones have been blackberries or palm/hp phones. My phone is 4g capable, but at&t won't support it. They are supporting the at&t branded Key one which has fewer bands and lower specs, but not my phone because it is unlocked.

Nah if you have a note 10 it's time for an upgrade.
Same thing I said

What you think is the best deal I can get for my 11 pro max, airpods, pros, series 5 to go android with a carrier?

Yep just almost finished. Phone is much snappier than my Note 20, loving it so far but I won't get around to seeing what minor extras it has. I'm just trying to duplicate my existing setup with my launcher.
Right. I'm using the WQHD+ resolution setting. Says it's most taxing on the battery but so far it's not an issue.

Didn't watch the whole video but there are two factors that have to be considered with his test.

1. No matter what you set the brightness to, Samsung phones by default go to max brightness when playing videos. The S22 Ultra gets 17% brighter than the 21 and 46% brighter than the iPhone 13 pro max which partly explains why the battery life was worse. He'd need to either disable this setting or avoid games and videos in the tests.

2. I didn't hear him say whether his S22 had a Snapdragon or an Exynos processor.

I just went and got a sim card from Target, fuck it, only $10. This phone is fucking smooth. Lighter than the P6P. Been setting it up all day. It charged to 100% in about 15 minutes (arrived at 60%). After setting it up and using it, i'm down to 53% right now. Not bad at all. And i had it on the highest display most of the day. Yeah, this is a nice phone.

Which text app are people using and why? Messages or Samsung Messages?

I only use Signal, handles regular sms and encrypted with other Signal users. Been using it for years since inception.

Everything else I use WhatsApp and Telegram to message 'side' peeps...

The battery life is excellent & the smoothness of the screen I just love. They changed up a lot in the framework it though. I have a Note 20 Ultra & the settings are different.

What settings? Seems the same. This is UI 4.1, the Note 20 was just 4.0.

I'm not seeing much of a difference in settings of the phone. You mean in the launcher?
