We need to improve our defense instead of the project tackles we got this year. That's a bigger need than wide receiver right now. With receiver we need to use what we have.
True! But the question is do you take need over talent? It will be hard to pass on Harrison Jr but DE is a must and Verse is top 5 or top 10 right?

I was just thinking the other day watching the Raiders and Steelers game how a defensive player like Max Crosby and TJ Watt totally change a teams whole defense. Even that year that Robert Quinn had.
We desperately need a stud pass rusher more than a stud wr. Our defense can't get 3rd down stops or turnovers when the game counts.

Lord willing I will be 57 in February. The last time the Bears won a Super Bowl I was a month from turning 19. I shouldn't have to wait until I am in my 60's for the Bears to win a Super Bowl...unless they win 3 to 4 in a row.
Our pass rush is doo doo..with flies circling it. MHJ doesn't necessarily help. The caveat being if we can get big leads it makes the defenses job easier.

Complex,I think Lewis is just a blocker at this point.
That's what I'm saying. We have an offensive line who can't block. Why not play the TE you got for his blocking.
It makes no sense. It's a waste of a roster spot otherwise. Same with St Brown. Blocking is their thing.

The defensive line is awful, best hope is we get into shoot outs. Any time the Bears score 20+ points, the game is considered a shoot out to me.
