Welp made my first batch of wings. The spices I used were on point (some fried chicken packet from Stater Bros). My impatient ass made my first batch of wings but they were all touching and slightly stacked on top of each other. I them at 380 for 30 mins with the fan speed on 3. Chicken was thoroughly cooked but they werent really "crisp". Second batch I made sure that none were touching and none stacked. Same temp and fan speed but went for 35 mins. and those shits were perfect. Not as crunchy as some oil fried chicken but they still tasted fried but as we all know much healthier. Yesterday did 2 thick ass breast. Did them each seperate for 40 mins, 380 and fan speed of 3 and them shits were perfect. Crispy outside and a very moist inside. They taste oven baked to be honest but i elevated them so a lot of fat dripped to the bottom of the frier. This weekend ill try some fries and those jerk chicken drum sticks someone posted a video to

I loved the wings I made. You do need the air to be able to circulate around the food tho. The ones I made were just regular skin on with seasoning, no flour. Some I did dip in sauce and put back in to glaze them. I made pork chops that I seasoned and floured first. When I use flour tho, I have to spritz with oil so that the breading browns and crisps up. Still much healthier than actually frying in oil.

Look I aint the type of dude to hype no ish up or put any extras on something but let me tell you.....I made those jerk chicken legs that you see on the 1st page and I aint lying when I tell you those that those were the best got damn legs I have EVER ate! I made slight adjustmenst though. I wasnt able to find that Sweet baby Rays sauce so I went with a different one and I left out the added ginger only because the Jerk seasoning I got had ginger in it (I got the sauce at Ralphs). With my cooker I put that ish on 40 mins, 380 degress and fan speed on 3. I glazed them shits every 10 mins and flipped after 20 mins. Im not a huge fan of too much spice but that ish burned by pallet just right and wasnt overwhelming. At the end of the day, they were done perfectly and the flavor was bangin! Tomorrow the wifey is making hamburgers so ill be doing some french fries so let me see how these come out. BTW, wifey get down in the kitchen and even she was taken back by what my non cooking ass was able to make. Hahaha!

I couldn't find that wing sauce either. I think I can order it online though. I did a version of it. The seasoning he uses has too much sodium in it for me tho. They came out ok, but I've never actually had real jerk chicken, and I'm not a fan of spicy food.

I couldn't find that wing sauce either. I think I can order it online though. I did a version of it. The seasoning he uses has too much sodium in it for me tho. They came out ok, but I've never actually had real jerk chicken, and I'm not a fan of spicy food.

I use mine regularly. Salmon, Wings, Seasoned Fries mostly. I have used flour on my wings before. It came out decent but the fryer clearly isn't made for it.
How do you cook the salmon,season etc? Hell just share the entire process lol

How do you cook the salmon,season etc? Hell just share the entire process lol

I brush with Olive Oil and typically salt and pepper or a blend. Sometimes I use lemon juice. Preheat to 390(on mines) and let cook for like 9 minutes. Comes out so solid. Tastes real good.

funny i am at my cousins spot and she made wings i was wondering how would air fry wings be today for superbowl

I made some buffalo wings on SB weekend with a garlic and onion powder rub. Those wings were so good that I almost made some for breakfast this morning.

The crazy thing is that I thought my AF had crapped out in the middle of cooking the wings.

When I went to flip the wings in the middle of the cooking duration, I could not get the container to slide back into the fryer the right way. Then the interface would not light up. I was sliding the pan in and out for about a minute and a half. No power. New Edition's "Is this the end" started playing in my head with the wings half way done during a superbowl commercial break.

I was like....really! :mad:

Should I finish these in the regular oven or the mirowave or eat them as is?

Then after about 5 mins I removed the tray and put it back into the slot and everything worked.

So now I am very cautious when I do the midway adjustments. I think that this contributes to the QC issues and bad reviews for my model.

I might upgrade to a copper looking tray model in the future.

The bad reviews are BS. You just need to watch this vid and insert the air fryer as she instructs when it is hot. For me her instructions work perfect. I have the Power Air Fryer XL.
