People thought the fight was over after round 2
but Ward went in there and fought his ass off. period.

That should have been a draw at the least for Kov. The only thing is maybe the judges felt like he faded and tried to coast through on those early rounds. Ward clearly won the second half of the fight. Those body punches took Kov's legs out.
There should be a rematch for sure. That was a damn good fight and Ward really has the heart of a champion. He was down big and he still BOXED his way to a win.

He tried his hardest not to let Kovalev dictate the fight and instead of standing there and taking shots he held and punched on the inside. He stayed composed and made the adjustment.

im glad the judges were looking at the boxing. they both traded shots.. by the 6th round ward had him timed and he could barely hit him the rest of the fight... while ward is still body shots and everything else
him winning those 2 rounds after the knockdown is what put him in the position to win this fight.
