2 of the rounds he gave to Kov were when Ward was the aggressor. His card was just awful.

It was not clear cut and i thought the 2nd round might be the difference.
but the judges saw it my way.
the power he had in the 1st 2 rounds he did not have it in the entire 2nd half of the fight. ward was never in trouble and in fact kov's nose was the one that was all runny.

Yeah Andre clearly showed that he was the only pugilist in the ring. The other guy had no skills but to extend his arms and hope it hits something.

Yep. He was stacking shots and rounds slowly but surely. HBO was miscalling a gang of punches. Just took the entertainment out of the fight.

I didn't think he'd get the decision but I knew it was damn close. Those body shots were a key factor in him winning.

go to the 3rd round. you know kov won the 1st 2
look at who's landing the body shots and who's missing shots..
by the 6th round ward had his entire combinations down and kov had to resort to trying to wrestle him.. to keep him from hitting him in the body
and one round he came out lunging and missing cause he couldn't hit him

the body shots literally took kov's power.
the power he had in the 1st 2 rounds.. he did not have in the end of the fight
ward got hit with those same punches and they were not effective he shook them off...

Naw. Kov can box. I think he sat on his lead and then those body shots added up on him. So by the end of the fight, Ward was aware of but not scared of his power at that point so he could take some chances.

I honestly feel like that too. I thought it was basically a draw and the knockdowns would be the difference. I think the judges, unlike most, really scored the body well because although Ward wasn't landing a lot up top, he was working the body

Cant wait till someone sticks a mic in Money May face to see what he has to say. He slick talked the decision of Ward to take the fight. He implied he would lose or get robbed. He was wrong on both accounts tho...

Put the pipe down son lol. You can tell Andre Ward was shocked as hell by his reaction after the decision was made. Even he himself prior to the decision being announced didn't think he won based on his very surprised reaction after the score cards was read.

I thought that he was running from Kovalev too but for some reason I recall someone on one of those boxing sites showing Kovalev's team wasn't being honest during the negotiations...strange though because Kovalev always seemed more confident about fighting Adonis than the other way around

Stevenson been on that pussy shit since he ran to Al Haymon, Him Kolavlev and HBO had an agreement to fight in 2014 but didn't have a contract(they was fighting on the same cards for the build up), Adonis ran to fight that cac on showtime and struggled, Adonis then bullshitted with Bhop so Bhop said fuck it and fought Kovalev, Adonis been on the tomato can tour for damn near 3 years now, fuck that dude
